Technically, DCI is no longer Drum and "Bugle" corps. Most corps play in b flat. Thats not a bugle. Thats just brass horn. When b flat horns were introduced the whole drum corps community did not cease to exist. I'm pretty sure if hopkins adds a flute or saxaphone, its not going to kill drum corps. I personally don't ever see Phantom Regiment using woodwinds, ever, so I think were pretty safe there.

U know, I think I might just go and check it out. Havnt been to cru in a while, but who knows eh? lol.

The certain corps that i'm with had an amazing weekend.

i wasn't complaining about anything. i was just saying that the people who have voted have completely missed the idea of this poll. How is it that by this point the top 5 corps have all been voted out? Its not that hard of an answer to figure out. Certain members from certain corps, do not like other members from other corps. And since DCP is usually the best way for people to sit at home and bash the people they do not like, then its obvious that their not going to take this poll as who had the most entertaining show. Their going to take it as, why do they always beat us? or i don't like their drum major, i think ill vote them off, then sign on with 5 other names and vote them off as well. It sounds kinda sad that people would take the time out to do this huh? well the sad part is that they actually do this... thats why I believe this has gotten ridiculous.

this is just ridiculous. its obvious that almost all the corps voted off were voted off because they beat a certain corps, aren't liked by members of a different corps, etc. well on to 2007...

o wow, you have troopers beating scouts... and i dunno if i agree with the academy, they might be close to the top 12, but i dont think their quite ready... other than that, i agree with alot of it.

SCV 04 had to be one of the most visually effective shows ive ever seen. Oh, SCV 06 was quite amazing as well.

you guys are lookin awesome! how many snares was that?!?! and looks like a clean tenor line. Cant really see the basses too well, but at least theirs 5 of them :P . cant wait to see more!

i know its not a second place show, but i think 04 scv was amazing, better than bd, and close to cavies

Ohh man, wow, things are looking awesome for you guys. I might try and get up to a few camps myself and check things out. Drumline looks absolutely amazing... (im sure they sound even better).

Phantom's was my personal favorite, and I really liked the Cadets too. Both of these were exciting. I also have to give it to vanguard. Theyve made huge strides since 05 in brass and especially percussion.

Sounds like an innovative team set up. One of the best percussion writers. Old Star of Indiana Staff. This should be really cool.

Hmmm i wasnt surprised. Maybe it was just me? I think cru is gonna do awesome this year because of the effort every member puts in every day, and by rochester, whether we're in the night show or not, we're gonna give the fans a show to remember! And yes Mr. Stork, the field was pretty nice even in a downpour. Glad to be back CRU!

WOW what a weekend, so much done... guard is looking awesome (i have never been this impressed by guard, being a brass player, it kinda makes me want to pick up a flag ), brass are looking/sounding amazing (what pretty pictures we make :P ), and percussion is becoming more and more clean by the minute. all i have to say is wow! oh yeah, very special thanks to the woman on the podium waving her hands at us. she sure gave us the best practice in a while . now that we got the first runthrough all said and done with, the only place we can go is up, and i guarentee that we will... in a huge way. Check out CRU- 2006, you wont regret it.
