Thats nuttin...a few years back I got a PM on AIM from someone pretending to be a Cadet. He told me that I was going to jail. The person did not even know what I do for the corps. Gee...I didn't think my food was jail time worthy.

Great 1st post! I would like to add something one the volunteer section. Just because your child is a member of the corps, does not mean you are better than a volunteer who is helping a corps and has no child in the corps. Be respectful of everyone. If you are kind enough to volunteer as a parent, remember...you are volunteering for the ENTIRE corps, not juct your child.

It is crazy how fast tour is sneaking up The stories i could tell from my 5 years helping on tour...

I have had the most fun during the first half of tour. Finals week, everyone is so focused and stressed...not as fun.

I have done 4 weeks in a row,...and that was a lot. For a new volunteer...I would suggest a week, or maybe 2 If you need 8 hours sleep...DON'T SIGN UP! lots of fun though Finals week is also not the best unless you have volunteered before...it can be...um...rough
