Wat is the temperature right now? Good Luck to all the performers and have a fun show. -
2018 singing and narration

I think it was the demeanor more than anything. Boston's young lady didn't act like she was the "Star" of the show and actually went back to doing guard work and sang circles around the karaoke singer. -
cough Bluecoats 16 cough cough

Last year I predicted an SCV win for this year. I have a serious gut feeling they will. watch out for the Sanford and Ott going to BD though!
-
They's tryina take are guns! I seen it on fawx nooz. :D
-
Why not? no big loooooong opening chords with a mello run in the middle of the show? Bluecoats play interesting music.
-
I really love the black and white. I wish I could go on tour and teach them some stills technique. Their video work is great.
-
Just saw a video. clearly the better hornline! I Think the vocals is intended to be background as if someone left the radio on. if it is turned down it would be really effective. thank you for playing some out jazz!

I do not care about movement at all. I like the music. the visuals are fine but I would take standstill over movement any day.
-
One thing about BD is that they look for a certain type of person. You could play and move like a champ but if you have a personality that doesn't click you don't get in. I know a trumpet guy who was a soloist and very good but his personality didn't click. He ended up marching CC for 3 years.

Blue Devils or the field?

That would require bringing it on finals night. -

By the way everyone talks about them you would think they won 4 out of 5. Oh wait someone else did that and dominated for 40+ years. -

because bringing it on finals night is just so unfair they had to average the scores to compete. :D -
Whaaaaat? Those drums sound better than anything they have ever had! The finish is super cool and that drum set is WOWOWOW Zach is my new favorite drummer. Wait until they get to play in a warm climate. Having been to every single family day ever, this was without a doubt the coldest ever. (coldest May and June I have ever seen)

Not having seen SCV yet I can not say. BD has their best drumline in recent memory now. I would rather see them in second with a Sanford. -
Zach Hudson is my new favorite drum set player!!!
-
I think they are going to win drums!

Nice facility but the stadium is too small.

I think BD and SCV have the friendliest alumni towards each other. I think each organization would do anything in their power to save the other should there ever be the need. -
Members from one corps to the next from all reports are pretty friendly with each other. While hosting members from 2012-2015 I often sat in on discussions about their favorite parts of other corps shows. I always enjoyed watching and listening to practice and discussions just as much as the shows. BD Family Day is my favorite day of the year!

I can dig this. isn't it top 15 now? I predict BD is going to take percussion.
