This year is not my favorite music but man I was impressed live. that is the best drumline I have ever seen.

Yes! I was mad I could not hear anything but their hundred thousand dollar sound system! (they really did pay that much)

I like the SCV music better but this BD show is a super production and their drumline is so much better and always has been.

That is the whole idea of DRUM CORPS. Now go look it up and listen. It is a contest not a toe tapper.

I think this show is when BD overtakes SCV in percussion. most insane drum parts I ever heard!

Vanguard! Even though I said they will repeat and I think they will. I hated their show just because all I could hear is their 15 person hornline mic'd up to drown out everything else. I literally could not hear the DRUM LINE!!!!

Mandarins weakness is percussion. I know one of their drum instructors and they are working on it.

I got into drum corps to hear insanely difficult music and esoteric ideas not tap my toe to something I can hear on any radio!

There was a time when DEMAND meant something. Like your bass line does flam drag splits but the other line that plays it safe and only does triplet based books and wins percussion.. ninja please. Now days you can do Jingle Bells or I wanna hold your hand. BARRRRRRF!

Their percussion book is not as difficult as it could be. There was a time when that mattered. Their style is logical and very tasty indeed. The desire for drum corps to go "mainstream" is killing it. If they brought back demand in the books that would help a ton. Not saying they suck or anything but come on. BD is playing circles around them and still not winning drums? As for the over mic'd hornline which drowns out everything else. I wish they would stop that stuff. I seriously could not hear the drumline it was so loud.

BD is NOT going to lie down. the GE in this show is very high. Drumline was very clean last night. I think they can take down the playing it safe Vanguard.

All I heard was SCV soloist! looked like a cool show but I couldn't even hear the drumline it was cranked so loud. (BD's drumline played circles around their triplet based playing it safe book) Mandarins and Cavaliers were great!

All I can say is that is the best bass feature I ever saw!
