I was a bit leery of SCV’s show coming into tonight, as I had only seen some clips. I think the show has some major legs. It started out slow for me but I was really digging it by the end. It’s going to be a beast come Finals. however, for me, Bluecoats are my favorite show this year hands down. The production seems so well designed, and as someone else said, if you sit low in any stadium, this show is louddddd, but in a good way. It was a great night! I really liked every show, from Madison to SCV!

Great show from top to bottom! Now to drive 1 hour back to my abode. Thanks drum corps!

What was the criticism of Madison this year? They were awesome! A great start to the WorldClass portion. These boys can peel some paint with those brass blasts!

I would say INT is the hot dog corps, but the lines are so long for food that INT is leaving me wanting more...very disappointed in INT thus far. It may be time for a new direction.

The music was quite beautiful. I’m going to need more reads on the drill and such. It felt muddled. But again, the music was beautiful.

I’m here to clear up the whole “should have won” situation. Yes, in 1989, SCV was unbelievable. But I was a high school student, and they received demerits from me for performing Phantom of the Opera two years in a row. Don’t give me the “but it was superior”, “but it wasn’t the same exact music...” they played Phantom of the Opera two years in a row! (I love SCV, if you didn’t know, but this was highway robbery). i thought both shows were wonderful. But NOTHING delivered like Phantom Regiment did in 1989. It’s the best 2nd place show of all time, because it should have won. They lost by .4. They should have won by that amount. I'm not bitter or anything. honorable mention: 2014 Blooooooooooooooooooo: Tilt Loved it! and 2006 Phantom Regiment: Faust

I forgot about my honorable mention...2006 Bluecoats: Connexus! I absolutely love this show. It was the first time I had ever gone to Finals, and this show made me cry. It's one of my most listened to shows of all time.
