  1. As we speak, we are exporting American crude oil out of the port of Valdez ,Alaska to far east ports in Japan and Taiwan. There is a tanker in exess of 850 ft lng leaving every six days. Vessels such as the Denali, Prince William Sound, and others alternate their runs between U.S. coastal and foreign. As for product, (diesel ,gas, glycol) we have been sending loads of American product to Israel since 1974 by an agreement signed by Henry Kissenger, Edmund Muskie, and Dept of Interior. This product will continue to be sent there at a lower price than American consumers. That is part of the deal. It is quietlyrenewed every three years. Expanding drilling on the North Slope doubtfully will not solve any problems , because this oil if extracted, will go on the world market. The companies are now multi national, and the stockholders are also . There are no longer any national regulations to channel American resources. The hope for lower oil prices will come when the Russians finish building their pipeline from the Caspian Sea to the sea of Japan (all in Russian territory) This is the second largest deposit in the world tat is not yet literally in the pipeline..
  2. This is one Boston Crusader/SCV/Madison fan that never knew Al Chez, however from the testimonials, allegiance to the activity, friends, and willingness to stand up for others, I'm impressed. Al Chez has promoted the activity just by staying involved and not becoming someone that is above and beyond drumcorps. As for his loyalty to the Cadets and Yea, Why the hell should he not be loyal. Wether its the Cadets/Crossmen, or any other Corps, its drumcorp, and everyone benefits from the contributions from people like Al Chez. I'm sure Moe Knox is a wonderful person, and perhaps he should receive some consideration also.....
  3. Colts on the move , lookin good. Boston moving into a sniper position
  4. A couple of corps have apparently already tried these two new innovations early on in the season, but as they did more shows, they gradually lapsed back into the standard format.,
  5. Red is a color that the management of most present day corps would rather not think about! Blue, black, or any other color not related to bankruptsy is preferable
  6. A different city and different sites and interests were part of the the reason for not missing a finals since 1994! Ten years at the same site does not offer any anticipation of getting to championships, since one can go any old year. Allentown is a gathering place, and a springboard for finals, and has its identity as such. I do hope Indy works out. It lessens the yearly legal and scheduling DCI load on DCI, however thats what executives do, and why they are there! There should have been just a bit of input from the people that have been filling the stands .
  7. Like the review, plenty of positives at this point in the season! Boston has the talent, needs to get the show into the stands a bit more..
  8. The psychological damage may be worse than the monetary if this is true!
