Although I'm partial I have to go with 84 Freelancers-You're Still a Young Man/ What is Hip?
I also have to mention 85 Suncoast-Florida Suite (I saw 89 mentioned but felt 85 was better)
80 Spirit-Georgia
92 BD- Someones There
92 Star
For those of you who mentioned 89 and 90 Freelancers thanks, those were my first 2 years.
I gotta go with PR for my favorite. I felt both corps weren't a clean as they should have been in finals. Cavies were cleaner than either but they didn't have the show to win.
I always loved Star's sound. It was dark rich and full. The final chord in the intro to 92 seemed to last forever, but it was absolutely seamless.

Freelancer 89-92
My favorite all time book was 84, after that I have to go with 91 followed by 89. As a rookie it was incredible stepping on the field for finals in 89. 91's horn line was just amazing. The bari/euph line had over 100 years of combined drum corp experience.
Chris Nalls, thank you for the compliment...you were great teacher.

Bari Euph and Contra
Two California corps missed so far...
California Dons, Fresno, CA
Valley Fever, Modesto, CA (although a new corps exists using just the name Fever)

Scott Stewart would be my choice...
He was soprano soloist for both Freelancers and Blue Devils marched from 88-94 became a soloist at 15. The 93 Freelancers 'Bill Chase' show was written around him but he went to BD instead.
The lead baritones in 91 got away with adding a few licks into the show that year. But then again our 91 bari/euph line had over 100 combined years experience.

Both of these people have been mentioned....
Roger Deloza Soprano soloist 1988-89 and maybe 87 as well. I miss him.
Grace Silva (Wife of Parker Silva), she died right before 92 finals and I've always thought that her loss was part of the reason the corp slipped away.
