There were about 20 people in the audience at Syracuse, NY. It was a small little drum corps crowd. Mostly all DCA people, but Cadets' center snare from last year was sitting behind me & a Crown 2008 alumnus in front of me. Honestly......I didn't remember Cadets being that good!! Haha I personally told him how sorry I was thinking that their show was not impressive......just BLEW ME AWAY!!!! ....also a good Crown fan base too! So it was pretty awesome!!! Haha totally got me pumped for Spring Training in 8 days!!!!

- DCT!!!!!!! - 1 gallon water jug!! - sunscreen - section shorts - LOTS of white t-shirts & socks - LOTS of underwear - free day clothes - mouthpiece - bus box! (filled with misc. snacks, bus clothes & etc.) - GATORADE - bungee cords - sleeping bag & pad

I started out in DCA.....marched 4 years of it. A bunch of people in have either heard or it or have NO IDEA what it is. I mean it was a DEFINITE change when I went to audition for DCI this year because there weren't any people over 21 that weren't on staff!

The 2008 uniform was the same as 2007, they just change the inserts on the side of the uniform. Like in '07, there was a horse printed-like metallic material, then in '08 they had the browns & yellow, then last year they had the green with the hanging material off of it.

I'm auditioning at Crown on mellophone in 16 DAYS.

My god I started to laugh when I saw the Statue of Liberty!!!! I remember my dad telling my stories about how the Bushwackers stole it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha same thing happened in the theater I was in! Everyone just started laughing!!!

There weren't that many people in the theater in Syracuse, NY. I don't know why but I remember 2yrs ago they had to open up another theater cause so many people were there! Haha I did get many looks when Crown was on cause it was definitely a Cadet and Bluecoat crowd! My mom's a "back in the day" drum corps marcher(like when they were showing the old clips of the marching pit....that was her! lol). I thought Crown did AWESOME tonight!!! I was so proud of them I actually started to cry a bit(sappy I know....just miss the boyfriend!). Haha but I was excited that there was a close up of him for a good amount of time before the show started!!

ugh I was gonna go to the show tonight & I was gonna do some tweeting.....grrrr I hate when plans change.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! Totally awesome!!!!!!!! Great job Crown!!!!! ...yeah Dustin said for him to be in the "zone" for Quarterfinals & such, he's turning his phone off starting tonight. So it'll be a happy-last phone call until after Finals.....haha I guess I can always call Nick!!

Crown has DEFINITELY been working hard trying to fix and change stuff to the show. I hope they do well tonight!

Hahaha ohhh Spanky! I wish I could've seen the show....and I won't be able to see the show until Quarterfinals....in the theater! I hope they do well tonight...cause I love when the phone calls are happy ones(well from Nick's phone cause Spanky needs to charge his! lol).

If I lived near VA...I sooooooo would be at the show!! Darn NY....

...thanks Mr.V.....lol. I think groups are playing while marching and while they're doing this, there are people swinging flags/sabres/rifles and playing music from brass instruments & percussion instruments.
