  1. there were 11 at the nj camp including myself as one of them. and i haven't heard any kind of result yet. in the discussion last summer i was a vet dm for Capital Regiment and the other dm was a rookie member to drum corps all together and was a fantastic leader. it really all depends on who you were to choose and their personal levels of maturity and determination
  2. are the vol 2 dvds (13-23) being shipped also. i was charged last tuesday and have not recieved shipping notification yet
  3. its a good thing to do a little research before speaking... if anyone has ever seen Choctawhatchee HS you are aware that they are a phenomenal program and very creative in the marching band community. Randy Nelson is/was (i'm not really sure if he still is) the president of the board at WGI and has been, if i'm not mistaken, the staff coordinator for spirit for the past 2 years. Randy is no stranger to corps and the performing arts by any means. and judging by his work with choctawhatchee's marching band and winterguard, this year spirit should have quite the visual program. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they come up with
  4. i second that. drum corps is an activity that requires certain skills. Not everybody can handle it. I think saying that everyone should be required to do it is like saying that its a simple thing that anyone can do, which its not! and i take great pride in being in the percentile of people in the world that are skilled enough to participate in DCI. A percentile that i'm sure the entire community is also proud to be in.
  5. the only problem i see is that the deadline is so close for this to be just released today
  6. so i don't remember exactly where it was over the summer, i think rockford, hopefully someone can help me out. I remember a show where the cadets had just recently updated their door and the old door from 05 was out in the souvie stand area. There was a sign saying that this guy was going to hitch it to his truck and drive to a dump unless someone else wanted to take it. Well he was taking pictures of people with the door. does anyone know if these pics were put online anywhere? any clue where i can find them? a pic of me and the CHAMPIONSHIP door?? perfect avatar pic
  7. create an account on photobucket. you can add the TAG line on a post and show them on DCP
  8. if i'm not mistaken it was in 2005. cadets sold uniforms? i must have missed that thread. any word on a newer design for 07?
  9. i never knew this man as a drum major, but he was dm for cadets in 04. i was the drum major for capital this year and he was the visual cap head. all my votes go towards Matt Haines.
  10. whats that bryan, did i hear B-dubs for everyone somewhere in that post? lol B)
