With all the time that people have spent on here arguing about whether DCI should provide them with some kind of day/night care for their kids...you could have found five options in Indy to give you what you're looking for, booked it, and moved on.
Interesting Spartacus film trivia...in some scenes, you can see extras in the movie who forgot to take off their wrist watches prior to filming. Ooops! Much of it was filmed on the backlot at Universal Studios.
Many corps (not all) don't pay for uniforms. They are part of an endorsement deal with manufacturers. That's how they can afford a new look every year.
They added 250 more theatres this year. Which one are you going to? I found a new one near me by searching here: www.dci.org/cinema
I actulaly had a few choices to consider. I'm going with Irvine Spectrum in Irvine, CA even though the new one is closer.
A friend of mine who works for Pearl told me that are giving away two drum sets at the show tonight. Sweet. Get there early because there will be three Pearl artist groups playing for fans including a salsa band during the preshow.
Oh, and there's a clinic with SCV at 3 PM that is free if you have a ticket to the show.
Rising gas prices are nothing new. Gas was .85 cents in 1989 or so. People still drove when prices went above $1.00. Gas price increases aren't enough excuse to keep me away. I'll give up a few dinners out this month and a few trips to Starbucks and still be ahead.
See you in Bloomington (Staying in Indy).
