Another factor to consider regarding the lower scores is DCI's March statement that there would be "...an influx of new adjudicators who will be seen on the 2015 DCI Tour..."
-
Howdy! On the positive side... (Such as it is...) A few (too few) of these "defunct" corps... Are merely inactive... And working toward returning to the field... 'Til later...
-
Howdy! Back in the late '80's... Roman was rightly proud of his 24 member Pioneer... But he erroneously stated that they were the smallest corps marching... Since the Btaintree Braves were marching... One (1) brass... One (1) percussion... One (1) guard... And one (1) DM... Which made Pioneer six times as large... 'Til later... B)

Howdy! Thunderwear? ? ? 'Til later... B)

Howdy! Almost anything new would be an improvement... :P By '04 the old unis looked like they were getting pretty funky... And the hats just looked sorrowful... 'Til later... B)

DIVII corps moving to DIV. I
GWFrog replied to dcifan2002's topic in DCI Open Class Corps Discussions
Howdy! Several corps have either stated or implied... A desire to go Division I... ^OO^ <---Going my way??? These corps would include... Arizona Academy... Blue Stars (Been there, done that, want to do it again)... East Coast Jazz (Ditto)... Fever... Jersey Surf... Memphis Sound... Teal Sound... All of these will probably make the move... Within the next few years... Someone said that... Kiwanis Kavaliers... Pioneer... Troopers... Also want to move to Division I... But I won't touch that with a ten foot pole... :feednotroll: How many times has this old horse been beaten? ? ? :lolhit: 'Til later... B) -
Feeder (Cadet) Corps Question
GWFrog replied to JimF-LowBari's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Howdy! In addition to those four... Blue Star Cadets became a wind and percussion ensemble in 2004... (Read: parade marching band... :P ) But continue to be the Blue Stars cadet corps... Although Bandettes went inactive in 2005... The Bandettes Feeder Corps continued to do parades... ^OO^ Also inactive in 2005... :( Joliet Kingmen have always been... A cadet corps without an "A" corps... With kids aged 10-18... The school-sponsored corps... Blue Saints and Hawthorne Gold... Are probably in the same category as Joliet... Cadets with no "A" corps... 'Til later... B) -
DCI's first overseas Champion?
GWFrog replied to ToneDeaf's topic in DCI Open Class Corps Discussions
Howdy! At this point... I'd say Taipei Yuehfu looks pretty good... To take the gold... ^OO^ It's lookin' like I picked the wrong Asian corps... 'Til later... B) -
Howdy! Just for the record... Yamato was my pre-season pick... To win Division III... 'Til later... B)

Howdy! And Yamato scores 76.000... ^OO^ .350 behind Raiders... Whadda ya think, Eddie? ? ? 'Til later... B)

Howdy! This, or something like it... Was one of my original options... Then I decided to try to maintain some semblance of good taste... But that doesn't seem to work on this Planet... :P 'Til later... B)

Review - Div II/III, New London, CT, Show
GWFrog replied to oldguard's topic in DCI (All) Corps Show & Event Reviews
Howdy! Great review, Old Guard... ^OO^ Please don't stop reviewing... Due to someone else's misguided idiocy... Illigitimus non carborundum"... (Don't let the b@st@rds grind you down... ) 'Til later... B) -
Howdy! Okay... So some genious skewed the fan vote... By cheating with a vote-bot... So DCI threw out our votes... And set the lineup... Based on their normal Regionals formula... So some folks are upset... So what should DCI have done... To determine the Murfreesboro lineup? ? ? 'Til later... B)
