Who has the copyrights to audio recording of corps? Isn't it DCI? What if the corp folded? What about pieces which are original compositions? <links removed> This seller's store has several corp recordings.... <links removed> Am I missing something? Are these old DCI recordings?

For the most part I agree. The nature of the sport is not to peak in week 2.

Although not directly stated, I do tend to agree BD has a cheap and easy show. In my opinion this is why they have been that much better than the other corps. I also find it strange that DCI is not penalizing BD for over simplifying things, but then again you do not hear popular entertainers attempting to do shows the are not capable of. I hope this is not a trend going forward.

A few years in the mid 80s. Just to note, the 87 group was just as talented as 83, 84, 85, and 86.

I get the impression they don't know corps and what to anticipate. I spent a few minutes watching the camera man at field level on Saturday and shooting just anything. The front ensemble is easy because it's just there.

I primarily used a 40D with a 300MM lens. I also had a XT body and a 10-22mm which I used rarely. Thanks all. I have a long way to go in my photography studies; e.g. finding some way to utilize some composition skills in the photos. I requested a field pass from DCI for my studies and was told I would have to be either a member of the media or apply next year for the DCI photography internship. Perhaps I may be able to work something out next year with a media company.
