Hmmmmmmm....Pioneer will do a show of 3 random tunes. Completely non-Irish. Maybe Scottish! Or just play Garry Owen in review of the stands after their all Shostakovitch show. Complete with a change of head gear to scrubby bubbles........ How's that. Getting warm yet Donny? John Hoekstra

WOW. This has sure taken a left turn! The age old issue of credit for demand, though not as clean....vs a well executed simpler book. Whether it be music or visual. That has haunted corps for years. Bottom line is performance. My friend Dennis Argul said it simply. You get credit for whats achieved, not whats written on the page. As far as programming, variety adds spice. I love my friends at the Govies. They found their groove and are taking it all for what it's worth. DCA has never been this strong top to bottom....and it's getting even better. The Sun Devils will be back next year, with a more polished product. Hopefully the revolving door we had this year, which contributed to some of our visual issues, will be a one way only...IN! And to the fans who gave us multiple standing "O"s at prelims.......you made it worth the 27 hr trip up and the 42 hour trip back. Congratulations to the new Open Class DCA South Champions Alliance, and the new Class "A" DCA South Champions Sun Devils! It has been an amazing year for the South. Yes Smoothy I marched this summer, filling a lead spot for someone who marched DCI. Now that he's back, I'm off the field(unless someone leaves before DCA). Must get together Mary and Smoothy. Thanks Scott and MCL for hosting this DCA South show, along with Antioch HS! It is in the record books as Sun Devils 1st Class A win ever. We are working hard to improve our show to perform both days in Rochester this year. The Sun Devils had a great trip! Although we spent more time on the bus then in Tennessee.
