the poster looks very similar to the same person that designed the Blue Devils' "1930" poster. Does anyone have any clue what music is being played?

Right staff and Excellent Music People. It is theirs to win or loose this year. Just going to see how the season plays out. If what i have heard about Blue Devils show this year are true, I don't Think BD will be much of a threat as last year. Top 3 will not be the same corps this year. It will be radically different. Crown, and Blue Stars are looking to be 2 Fierce corps this year. I will be in Gadsden, Atlanta, and Indy this year so we shall see how it plays out! will have reviews from each show also

My self personally love Mackeys Music. it makes me smile and i love listening to it. Aurora Awakes will suit the Blue Devils. You Might even hear it this year on the field

I think if Crown Utilizes the 2 sets of horns during the show and has a very untraditional uniform that it will be ground breaking for drum corps idiom. I give Crown props for having an excellent staff and management. I wish them all the best of Luck in '10 and hope they do get gold this year!!

They took Second Last year and i think the show is supposedly going to be their 2nd chance to capture a gold medal. it will be awesome.

Ok so i get updates from crown's facebook page and they are having a sell stating that they will have the entire 2010 horn line for sale in 2010 right after finals in big bold print under it they also say they will have the exact same set in BRASS LAQUER!!! 2 sets of horns all second movements hmm when will they officially announce the 2010 show instead of just leaking things!!

This has to be the best sounding edition of blue stars i have ever heard. im drooling and waiting on summer to get here. IMHO i think this is the most technical music i have heard heard from the blue stars. i can not wait to see them in Atlanta then in Indy all 3 nights!! top 5 better watch out. Blue Stars may be coming up really fast!!

ok my apologies. i meant the year star won the title. i mistyped. crown will bring their a game this year. as i said it before. there will be a new champion crowned in 2010

yeah i dont count phantom Cause they won in 1996 and again in 2008. i was speaking of the fact that crown and bluecoats keep moving up trying to get in to the top spot. crown was almost there in 2009 and will be in pursuit of that championship ring in 2010. this year will be the year of some big changes i feel in DCI rankings. Cavies, Blue Devils, and Cadets will not pan out so well. Crown and SCV will battle for the top 2 spots. Phantom will regain its elite status. Madison will push for top 10. Spirit will battle with Troopers, Colts, The Academy, Pacific Crest and Teal Sound all season 11 - 17 will be the closest we have ever seen in DCI history.

So.... 2008 started really a new trend. New Blood in the Top 5. Very Exciting. 2010 Could Possibly see a New Champion. 1993 was the last year a new corps got a championship.

so we are waiting on: The Academy Blue Devils Boston Crusaders Carolina Crown - Music Selections Jersey Surf Spirit Troopers - Music Selections. Move Ins are less then 1 1/2 months away. when will we know what corps are doing what???

i have heard rumors about the show. it sounds alot like 08 but not endings though. will use a different tactic. i have heard rumors of 2 uniforms being used. i have heard a rumor that they will use 2 sets of horns. so far there is a common theme of 2 being used here. ( note - 2 is a key term here.) for the program that has been called A Second Chance. hmmmm. what ever crown comes out with this year i am hoping for them to take gold with it.

I think this year is going to be a great year for drum corps. except the fact that 3 corps will be playing Asphalt cocktail. other than that 2010 looks like it could be an epic year. Still wondering what Spirit is going to do for 2010. any body heard anything yet?

I have a friend Marching Blue Devils and Have a Few Friends Marching Crown. Really looking forward to seeing what all is out there for 2010. so far looks like it is going to be an awesome year!!

We will get 3 very different arrangements of it. Don't know who is writing the brass books for PC or Bluecoats. But I am sure Blue Devils and Wayne Downey will put together a very awesome version of Asphalt Cocktail and Aurora Awakes. Mackey does seem to be very popular this year with 2 top 12 corps using him and in the 13 - 20th positions also

Pacific Crest, Bluecoats, and Blue Devils are the only ones playing Asphalt Cocktail for 2010.

In The Presence of My Enemies - Dream Theater - is one of them.

well i can assume that all corps are doing preshows for 2010. after seeing what was accomplished by crown in 09. OMG I LOVED IT. i think that hoppy is making a back door to have woodwinds legalized with in 2 years. i dont agree with the woodwinds being allowed to march. but i do think that if you have from 3:01 - 5:59 to do anything you want to do to make an impression and flow right into the show i say go for it. the more drum corps the better. and to the poster who said something about cleaning and perfecting a preshow when it wasnt judged... look at crown 09. might have well said their entire show was almost 15 mins long. i say it worked out awesomely for them. they got their highest ever ranking with it. i know the rule now that they cant be judged during preshow. but i am sure that once they got the judged portion underway the judges were already drooling...

i got some inside info on Crown but im keeping my lips sealed. Lets just say that it is crowns to take this year!! impressive show concept
