But isn't this the exact reason why everyone is so upset when things like this happen? Yes no one wants slotting and we all want people to call the game fairly but what is fair? Someone will always feel slighted. i guess we just all feel like everyone is on the same page judging wise when there aren't such wild swings. especially when you are looking at composition scores. I can understand corps having off nights but the design of the show does not change drastically enough to warrent such swings no matter what corps we are talking about.

More recently I think the rifle feature at the end of the Cadets 95 show where you could hear the snap of the strap as the spun was pretty hot!

I haven't seen their show yet but I am certainly looking forward to it! They have been doing such great things over the last several years I expect nothing less this year!

Well, if all the previous judges were wrong in their numbers then she should still be fired cause she trained them! If that is the kind of training that is going on and we are getting numbers that are that far off them we need a new chief vis judge!

But thats just it...BAC has been placed in that elite group since the season started with their scoring. This placement however removes them from that elite group and drops them back down in the rat race. You yourself have confirmed everyones point in an attempt to disuade our arguments. how can you take a corps that has established themselves and kick them back to the curb? No offense to Pioneer but I dont' think anyone here would argue that there is a considerable gab between Pioneer and BAC right now.

Correct me if I am wrong but a total GE score is made up of rep. which is how it is written and perf which is the performance. even if BAC was complete crap last night there is no logical way that their rep score would be justified as low as it was. they have been getting really high scores all season so far in Rep and performance. whitout rewriting the show over night how does that drop so low?

BAc has been consistently placing higher than Bluecoats and until the last 2 shows Cadets in GE visual at shows they have been at together! To have them behind everyone except Pioneer is Absolutely Absurd! Hell Overall their GE scores were consistenly top 4 overall until now! And they have been at shows with Bluecoats, Cadets, and Cavies! it is stuff like this that makes people upset with the activity. They need to at least make it LOOK fair! To dump someone that bad just make it obvious you have a problem with them!

He is also listed on Boston's staff list. I think he goes back and forth between the two groups.

It doesn't I was just making a statement about their show! I think everyone should get credit for the work that they are doing out on the field and I think those kids are working really hard as always, i just hate that they don't seem to get the crowd reaction they deserve because of the black cloud over the show with the vocals and how they make you feel!

I think Boston will still beat Cadets in visual! I want to like the Cadets show, the kids play great but it is just so much of a downer! I mean I come to drum corps shows in persuit of happiness not to dreg up sad feelings about people I know who have died of Breast Cancer.

I agree! They have a young group this year but they seem to be working hard. I am sure they will have the music squared away soon! I think this is the earliest they have come out in a few years as well! I am sure Wayne Dillon, Jay Kennedy, and Frank Williams will get them going in the right direction!

Extra Practice time doesn't always show up the day it occurs. Practice is all about training the muscles and sometimes things that you have been working on take a day or two to show up! If Boston keeps it up...based on what I have seen they should keep on climbing this year!

I can't wait to see the show! I hear the brass line is kicking butt! Although I would expect no less.

They are in Van Buren until the show on Saturday. You should come check out the show! They are doing a full uniform run tomorrow night around 8:30 PM. I am certainly going to try and come back for that!

Its a tough decision but if corps A really is your family then they will understand the opportunity you have been given and be happy that you have a chance to march with corps B! It will be a great experience! go for corps B!

I am in Ohio on business and happened to check out Boston's rehearsal tonight! WOW! The show is great! I can't wait to see what they do this summer!

Pretty Impressive! It will be interesting to see what happens with all the staffing changes that took place! But if the rest of the show is coming along like that recording it appears Boston might come out strong this year!

An off the wall hope that no matter what the placement or the corps people give the members credit for what they are doing and reward them with the applause they deserve. Unfortunately, I predict there will still be people who take out their frustrations with the show designers on the kids who have nothing to do with it and just work their butts off everyday on the show they are given! Maybe we should boo less and clap more!!!
