I've heard of corps being told that if they want to score/place higher they need to do full tours

Any rumors of uniform alterations or changes for '09? I personally heard something about PC changing their jackets in some way...kinda curious to see what it will be.

Ok, this is a little late considering this happened in 2004 but I figured it was time to bring it to DCP. Though I do not exactly think it would work for this year I do think it should be said regardless. In 2004 following quarterfinals I decided to go over to Murphys in downtown Denver and after our party got our food some DCI people walk in, such as regional coordinators and etc. anyway, while eating we over hear them talking about (this is all paraphrasing of course) [That this wasn't a good day for our California friends.] Later on they discuss how corps such as CA's lower tier Div. 1 corps get [screwed] because they do not do the major regionals, full tours or use all of the same color horns and etc. and to wrap it up concludes with [it shouldn't matter in the scoring but it does.] I just found that pretty dumb to one actually take that to the sheets but to also say that in a public place on top of it.

Baaaaad, no excuse for that, wrong notes are one thing, but hanging over like that throughout.... Take it for what it's worth, I heard of some people wanting to take it to the lot which, after hearing that...wouldn't surprise me.

Don't most kids have violent video games already? AND god forbid we try to desensitize people. People need to understand and cope with real life, and real life isn't fun and games. Prehistoric times, Bronze Age, Age of Exploration, Iron Age...I could go on and on, Cry me a River. A couple more things it's Cavies & You should have already known about the shows so don't give me that embarrassment stuff. Don't like it, don't go, simple as that.

do buses really matter THAT much? New, old, long as it moves down the road I think it's fine. heck you don't even need to own your own buses which I think is cheaper depending how you look at it considering upkeep and that you only use them for so many months out of the year.

Reasoning behind not putting crown is that I would believe the general consensus especially here on dcp considering this season for sure would have Crown winning this poll so to eliminate that I left them out. Don't get me wrong I'm a Crown fan.
