Actually, the ending in 2007 in April was NOT the ending in August. It didn't change much, but it was sort of embellished. Same idea... just poking fun at facts

2006 Cadets, in July the drum break fell apart. The snare line blamed it on the pit, but that's just nonsense. I forget where it was, but it was not a good night. Funny thing was that the judge said the drumline was on fire that night. Up in flames was more like it.

The day went well, and we even had ensemble!

Well here's the thing... back in 07, full retreat at finals, once the Cadets were announced as 2nd place, BD went crazy (that's fine), but then they started yelling things over the line that were taunting, rude and disrespectful. ever since then, i have had a hard time respecting the organization and the members. i appreciate what they are doing artistically and you can't deny their success, but it will take me a while to get over that... that being said... the few times that I got to interact with BD members this year, they were very kind, humble, respectful. at the time I was surprised, but now i feel like maybe i can have a change of heart. i assure you, this has nothing to do with being bitter about 2nd place in 2007... who cares? but those words barked by the blue team will long be remembered

Why can't I find information about the board of directors on DCI.org? Seems like a simple and maybe important thing to be able to access, but to no avail... any help?

Credit where it's due... Congrats on your 14th on the 14th. Members were more respectful this year than in the past. Hope it continues in the future.

as a student at CCSU, i can tell you i hate it... as a Cadet, i Love the Concord team compared to CCSU if you want to be a music major, don't go there wanna be a teacher? ok fine...

So i was thinking... it's very possible for the Cavaliers to pass Blue Devils tonight. Also, if they don't, it's very possible for BD to not even get a 99. Depends on their momentum. However, their jump from Quarters to Semis was only 0.2. Cavaliers jumped 0.7 or so. 2008 here we come again! I hope anyway... and it takes a lot for a Cadet to say that ^_^ #abbd

You pose a good question, but as for whether or not it's better than Frameworks or the Zone, you can't compare that, really. There are many forum topics on this. I think the BD are on track for getting a 99 in SEMIS! That would put them as the only corps to do that and the only corps to get two finals scores in the 99s. Kind of cool. As much as I am programed to hate BD (as a Cadet alumn - the same way a Red Sox fan hates the Yankees), like it or not, they are doing what they do VERY well. The mirrors are something drum corps has never seen before, so innovation points are through the roof. The music takes some getting used to, but it's great. AND CLEAN! Drill is clean, whatever drill there is :)
