I can agree with the Fort Worth notion. You could come take a good look at Bass Hall, an awesome movie theater, some amazing eats, and a small dive called Scat's Jazz Lounge all in Sundance Square. Beautiful area. Would heavily recommend Scat's as most nights they have live bands and a pretty good drink menu! Or if you want to stick with Dallas, the Ross Perot museum is super cool, even for adults.

Some WEIRD timing issues happening in Bloo's show tonight. Not sure this is the run they were needing, tonight of all nights.... :/ That rewind section was cool, but seemed like it arrive a second or two too early. Ouch...

Crown putting up very strong arguments why they should be on top right now. Very solid movement. A little weird in that triple tonguing section but I'm sure that will be fixed in the very near future.

No arguments there. Personal taste on that one. With a show so filled with symbolism and craft, I was just hoping for a bit more tasteful than "it's the ups and downs of waves."

My biggest complaint about BD is the trombones. Most corps have used them for timbre and for useful effect. A good portion of the usage from BD is just for glissandos. I really have come to expect art and perfection from them, not 5th grade trombone beginner class sound effects :/

Not to say Cadets wont, but haven't people been saying these exact same things since the first show? - within striking distance - visual will eventually get cleaner - big move coming soon when changes set in I was always told .3 is negligible, ..5-.8 means big cleaning is needed to compete, and .9 and beyond is a different scoring bracket. Cadets are inching close to the latter in GE and vis. Music is pretty close.

I know this is early stages of the closer but I was hoping for something....more? Saturn is a sweeping and touching song with building emotion into a quiet ending. Right now the ending is just very stock drum corps "band play loud..."

Very much looking forward to hearing about those changes. Always knew the staff had the building blocks, just needed to put them together for a heavy hitting show.

Because we have been able to see the exact numbers for the judges this year, right? See each itemized score within a caption and really analyze the judges preferences, right? And opinions of corps never change when warranted, right? Historically a judge always curves bias towards a corps every year with no fluctuation, right? And if that way they score lower you can say "see?" and if they score higher they can "break the mold," right?Am I right? Right?

There a lot of rook out assistant DM's. You could always contact your corps of choice for that. I would hate to say "never" but I have incredibly strong doubt that any world class corps will let a rookie come in to be head DM.

Thinking about it, I can understand why some corps have pretty ragged endings right now. Why waste time tightening up what you will change in a week or two? As long as it's passable, it's alright. Once the real endings are rolled out, you will see those tighten up quick.
