exactly.. and how many years in a row now has Crown won the Fan Network award? at least 3 or more...

if they could get rid of those giant white boxes and add more creative drill, then I'd be a bigger fan of their show. But those as such a distraction to me this year.

Thank god the season is early.... saw the show tonight also on the big screen. House was full of Calvie's. Some glitches with the broadcast. Seeing these shows in person will make a heck of big difference. I'm puzzled yet by the BD's show. Those props are the worse and do what for the show? Cavaliers will be at the top all year, thou being rewarded tonight for standing still for the whole last section of the show has me scratching my head yet. Cadets will be very strong too... Crown, after hearing all these cheesy comments, I enjoyed the show very much and will only get better as the season goes. Still scratching my head on how they could go from 1st to 4th in one night, they didn't stand still for their ending. LOL BlueCoats had me seeing pieces from last years show repeated again this year. Phantom has the passion. SCV - another year of puzzling music no one is use to hearing, which adds the disconnect for many. BlueStars- can't wait to hear this brass section in person! Thats my few cents. LOL And the season is off......

Saw the show tonight on the big screen. Loved it! Can't wait to hear and see it in person. Even thou I don't get the big difference in the scores, the season is early and can only wait to see how much better the show will get before INDY! GO CROWN!

I'm no judge. But I did wonder why CROWN didn't take 3rd. Their sound they put out is just amazing. No other corp pulls that off as well and they do. I'm sure the judges have thier reason for the scores, but if I was to base the scores on the crowds reactions that were sitting around me, clearly Cavaliers would have pulled ahead and won. Either way I enjoyed them all. Some shows were just more crowd entertaining then others...

Congrats CROWN on a another great season! and yet again the fans have spoke and your the DCI Fan Networks FAVORITE! That speaks volumes. Well done and I can't wait till next year!

Did anyone else notice that the introduction in the beginning was delayed? The was unfair and almost started the whole show off wrong. Someone in the DCI staff should be chewed out!

Blue Devils – and now to my final disappointment of the year. The fact that the judging community is so enamored with this show is down-right alarming to me for the future of the activity. OMG... you sum it up quite well in your last sentence. I can not wait to hear the crowds reaction in INDY when the scores are read if BD wins with such a crazy high scrore.

Am I reading this wrong? but wasn't CROWN's score last night in Allentown 93.45... not 93.05? thats what DCI scores says.

I hope so! they need a good extra push to bump them up a few notches.

I was present Saturday night....my favorites: Madison- a good entertaining crowd pleaser and the music it great to listen to. Phantom- the beginning entry was just amazing. The middle was ok, and then like the entry the exit was too awesome. The crowd loved it! Crown- I have loved this show all year. I just wish they had a better ending to really bring the audience up off their feet. Oh, and did anyone see the person in the brass line go down in one of the maneuvers? Ouch...that didn't help the score Cavaliers- the show is growing on me. The intricate patterns are looking better and better. Not so favorites: SCV - this show just is missing something. I felt the whole crowd just fall asleep. Even at the end of the show, the crowd just barely got up to applaud. Not good And of course Blue Devils: so much going on. Way too much loud electric bass. The mirrors are cool, but all other corps utilize the marching to show off the show. They don't need mirrors to exaggerate it. The music choice is odd too. I just don't get why the scores are so high. Oh well.... Just my thoughts. That's just my opinion :-)

I just got into Atlanta. Went right to the ticket office at the Georgie Dome and bought me two tickets in the Club Section 221 Row 9.. most excellent. So if anyone is still looking I would suggest doing what I just did.

I just got done watching this clip of the BD. I have yet to see them live, but the music sucks. If they want the music to stick in the fans heads after leaving the show,, this certainly does not. video link removed--lm

sounds like we all need good tickets... I could use two tickets also. Maybe we should pool our money and reserve a sky box.. =)

Looking for two tickets for the DCI Atlanta show this coming July 31. Can anyone help me out? Was in Minneapolis last weekend but thanks to mother nature most of the show was canceled. Any help is greatly appreciated.
