  1. Leaking is not cool. Wait with the rest of us lol.
  2. I'm looking forward to see the best in the activity all at once, can't wait for that. Scores and placements are going to be a total bore though, and will soon be rendered irrelevant.
  3. I've only seen the pre-show of the 2011 program on the Voldemort website, so I can't really judge that. But what's the point in having the best part of your show unjudged? Just my take on it. Don't know where they will end up at finals, and this is the first year I can honestly say I don't care at all, but I don't see them as low as 7th as some have said.
  4. Sounds like Northmont HS 1996. Don't know if it was specifically Vietnam War but I do remember the wall and them on platforms.
  5. Kaneda's Death from Sunshine (Adagio in D minor) by John Murphy
  6. Thanks, it actually does! Bear in mind I don't have to really understand a show to enjoy it, and I really really enjoyed your 2011 show. I can just take a new appreciation for this show now that I do understand it.
  7. From Juxtaposition's website “Most of us experience life as a linear progression, but this is an illusion because every day, life presents us with an array of choices... each choice leads to a new path. To go to work, to stay home. And in each choice we take, creates a new reality.” Join Juxtaposition Independent World Guard as they teeter the fine line between the choices that shape our collective futures. "The future is not some place we are going, but one we are creating ",with every choice we make. Yeah, I don't get it either...but it might be worth noting that Bohemian Rhapsody's opening is "is this the real life, or is it just fantasy," which kind of makes sense. Don't really understand it beyond that, though I really like some of the flag work at the end.
  8. @RiseUp, Very very well said. I saw a few errors, and I'm about as far from a trained eye as you could get! However, I still enjoyed the show and I feel like some are over-reacting like they received 1st place. The judges awarded them the Silver, and while there may have been other groups that might've been better (I liked Braddock and Sac better personally), this is like BD level hate in drum corps. That said, I hope they come out next year with a show like '09.
  9. Thanks! I believe I remembered it being Pomona now that you say that. It was definitely post-80's, but it was fun watching some Miller's Blackhawks shows that you suggested.
  10. So I'm looking for a show off the fan network and I can't find it. All that I know is that a clip of it was posted on that site awhile back as part of the WGI best of series, but I don't see it there anymore. The guard used what looked like long poles and attached the flag poles to them, and then there was a flag exchange using the long poles. Not sure if that's a good enough description.
