  1. Unfortunately, BD scored over 80 first. Close second though!
  2. I love it personally. Jupiter fighting back into the mix sounds wonderful, however, I highly doubt that their ending will stay the same unless the really want to end the show with an unresolved chord.
  3. It's not the jaws theme it's the beginning of the 4th movement of new world symphony. As bad as Blue Stars bastardized the piece at least that was recognizable.
  4. Go Bones! I'll be cheering like hell from home for you guys! Can't wait to see you in Allentown!
  5. I'm not seeing a penalty on the recap. I wonder what's up.
  6. How about some updates on the rest of the corps Wes?
  7. According to Phantom's Facebook the show is delayed 15mins to get everyone in the stadium. Interesting.
  8. Bloo threw down tonight! The show was in very good shape and well ahead of where I expected them to be at the first show. Their encore of the boxer also made me lose my ####! Can't wait for the rest of the season!
  9. Crossmen will be at Tavares Middle School in Tavares, FL.
  10. What's funny is that video shows probably their worst run through all of spring training.
  11. 1. Carolina Crown 2. Blue Devils 3. Bluecoats 4. Cavaliers 5. Cadets 6. SCV 7. Phantom Regiment 8. Boston Crusaders 9. Madison Scouts 10. Blue Knights 11. Spirit 12. Crossmen
  12. The members are working like dogs but they seem to love it and I know the people watching sure do. The put is phenomenal. They had another ensemble last night I heard but I missed it. Im going to try and catch them this week.
  13. Just got back from Crossmen's ensemble. All I can say is WOW! This corps has stepped it up and so has the design team. They are hungry and try won't stop until they see finals!
  14. I remember they had music licensing issues but I thought the edited shows were put back on the fan network.
  15. Yeah just got a text from my buddy in the corps. Turns out Jupiter offered them a really good price and they ran with it. I'll reserve my judgement until I hear them in person...
  16. I spent two days in Indy last year and will be there all week this year. The parade was a really wonderful event. From what I understand the Crossmen were the most upset about having to be in the parade because DCI made it mandantory. They too lithe parade and just used as a vehicle for their frustration. It was very cool however to have them break rank, come to the curb and have 3 trumpet players 2 feet from me just wail. I could die right then and me happy. Colts did this as well. The mass battle hymn at te end was great and was amazing to see about 30 corps perform it. I will definitely be attending the parade this year and every year DCI holds it there after. I remember talking to some staff as well that we're not too pleased about having to give up the members rest day to do this parade. As far as I'm concerned though they were back by 1 with plenty of time to relax and hit finals that night. The audience loved it and so did the other non-corps groups I te parade. It was probably just first year bitterness. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed prelims because I have tickets for it this year. 14 hours of drum corps sounds like an unmatched heaven. Mind you this all caps off a ten day road trip for me starting with the eastern classic.
