I'm with snare guy here. Yes, Spartans are VERRRRY god, but I found Jazz's SHOW to be much more interesting, and their performance of it was almost up there with Spartans. Man, Jazz's horn line impressed all heck out of me - Those 36 kids were LOUD ! ! ! (AND balanced, and controlled, blah, blah, blah - LOUD'S more important to this old DCA fan) Ya DEFINITELY ought'nt count out Malden yet ! And, btw, ya can't give enuff props to Citations, man! I'm a horn guy married to a guard girl, so I didn't notice the drum line much (Sorry, gang - But that's kind of a good thing, since I usually only notice a drum line either when it's really bad or when it does stuff that annoys me :-) ), but that 14-member (12 maybe???) hornline was suh-weeeeet! And their guard was pretty impressive, too!

Ooh, ooh, ooh ! I think I have one that has ya all beat ! When I was in the Park City Pride (Bridgeport, CT for the one or two of you who may NOT know) in their inaugural year, we had a guy who REGULARLY flew in for rehersals from his current home IN THE NETHERLANDS! Man, if he's still there, imagine THOSE frequent-flyer miles - He can get a free flight to, like, Pluto !

Yeah, I'm with Mikey here -I grew up in Bridgeport, marched at Barnum twelve times with four different corps, after having attended since I was about five years old. While it would be awesome to see the crazies in yellow back on the field, in my hometown, no less, I'll wait until my NEXT opportunity. Needless to say, then, my wife and I are driving THROUGH Bridgeport tomorrow on our way to Dover! Go DCA and, btw, GO CABS !

Okay, okay - ALMOST to the end of the parkway ! And listen to the lady, folks - Get yer tickets if you haven't. Oh yeah, have a safe trip and all that, too.
