There have been BD Zingali-winning years where people have commented on how many drops their guard had at Finals. Don't sweat it.

If VK were still around, they could do a BK-esque show with Shatner narrating!

As a wise woman named Flo once said, "Something unexpected happened," and it was how beautiful BK's show was.

Still hard to believe that show isn't beating BK. So glad these corps in the bottom half of Finals are giving it their all!

And Yukon Cornelius looks like a cross between the Blue Stars' 2018 and 2019 uniforms.

Cavaliers have done so since 2016.

Mandarins did it last year. It's allowed, but again, most visual designers are just not fans of them due to the slides.

He also released an album called "New Blood" that reimagines some of his own songs in the style of the songs from "Scratch My Back." (EDIT: @KVG_DC beat me to the punch on "My Body Is A Cage")

Also, visual designers don't like them because they limit vertical space due to the pokey slides. This is probably why there are also some BOA powerhouses that don't march trombones at all except for features.

I know SOA and BK based theirs off the Eric Whitacre choral arrangement from 2017.

At this point, the completely silent Tunnel Cam on DCI's YouTube is more watchable than Flo.

Well, at least now people who hate the costumes trend no longer have to look at a corps on Flo and ask, "Who is that?"

That’s what I’ve been saying for weeks now. If they add a tag ending where the stage is reset back to normal and the ghostlight is turned off, that would seal their fate for 1st. I’m not entirely convinced that they’ll win on the merits of their visual performance alone, for as fantastic as they are from that standpoint.

I heard that the Spartans already left because they didn't secure a housing site for Friday night into Saturday.

I know people hate ties, but this year, I want a tie.

Then the only battle for 1st would be a rock-paper-scissors match between the drum majors to determine who gets to play their encore first!

The good news is that this year the pre-Finals activities in LOS are only an hour long as opposed to an hour and a half in previous years, thanks to the Open Class champion encore happening last night, and the removal of other things such as the sponsor recognition and leadership awards.

I don't know how the scores will end up tonight, and honestly, I don't care. I hope every corps gives performances that all the MMs can be proud of, no matter what the competitive circumstances. The 2019 DCI season has been amazing and has flown by faster than I ever could have imagined. In fact, I keep thinking the Tour Premiere was just a week ago. It will once again be tough to adjust back to real life after an incredible season, and moreover an incredible decade, of drum corps (at least until the staff changes start rolling out early next month), so I ask everyone watching tonight to soak every moment in, no matter what.
