I like 1974 ... but that’s me.

Makes as much sense as anything. I suspect it also may be his way of saying he isn’t coming back next year.

I think that is for the best.

OK ... so now I am in a quandary. Do I say “Oh wow, I hope he is OK and makes a full recovery,” or “Thank God, it isn’t another FUBAR.” Hopefully both, if true. But what of the director of operations?

Obviously I have to add another vote for 27th Lancers. But since I am overly biased, I will say Guardsmen. They had great horn lines and filled the oversized shako void.

I just listened to Drum Corps AF podcast episode “Free Arsenal.” He gets it. Recommended listening to all who are passionate about what just happened this week.

I swear to God, I don’t know what to think. Befuddled ... that’s what I am.

The “off with his head” mentality with Atcheson is a cumulative effect from how DCI has mishandled a variety of scandals this past year. But this last fiasco is the boulder that broke the camel’s back. The penalty imposed on Arsenal was completely disproportionate to the “crime.”

And that is the problem. I think it is time for new blood to occupy the judgement seat.

The eyes of the world are watching, DCI.

If I am wrong, I hope I am never right.
