Meanwhile, my 97 year old mother got the Moderna and had zero symptoms even after the second shot. Wierd.

My son and daughter-in-law (ages 35) got their first jabs a week after Hope and me at Ford Field. Interestingly enough, they got the Pfizer vaccine and Hope and I got the Moderna, so all of us will get our second jab within a day of each other.

The next day was fine for us, but I have had significant hip pain starting a couple of days after. Joint pain is said to be a potential side effect, but it also may be just a coincidence.

You are lucky. Hope and I were daily checking for places to offer us a vaccine as far away as Toledo, Flint and Ann Arbor (about a 60 mile radius) for about two weeks before our hospital system reached out to us.

Welcome back! When Michigan started to open up the vaccine availability, I was very concerned that I was just going to be pushed onto a longer wait list and would ultimately have a longer wait as a result. It was therefore a great surprise when, a few days later, my hospital system reached out to let me know I had an appointment. I got my first jab 19 days ago, and will get my second in nine days. I had to drive 30 miles, but it was worth it. I hope you have a similar experience.

I would respectfully disagree, but my eyes got stuck when I rolled them. 🤣

I still tear-up

There is a reason 1984 Cadets is still one of my top ten all time performances. (Actually, three of George Zingali’s shows are in my top 10 ... 87 Cadets and 91 Star are the others). I loved how she picked up on George’s genius, and yes ... she did find Barbara Marony. I am glad she likes old school, but really ... that show is timeless.

Congrats! I got my first Moderna vaccine a couple of weeks ago. In Michigan, everyone 16 and up is eligible for vaccination. With MI, in a huge surge of cases, that’s good news.

I have also noticed that she has become more knowledgeable in her commentary, so she is definitely learning.
