Has anyone seen a video of PR's show. There are numerous ones of other corps on the tube, but I can't find one of PR. Would love to see it if there is. I too believe they have a long way to go but would love to watch the progress and there are not many opportunities to see them on webcasts this year.

love the Vanguard show.. -
It's a shame that PR isn't able to attract top talent anymore. I suppose they will have to totally rebuild the program to be competitive again. As far as the show design, I was terribly disappointed with the visual design. It had notthing new and in fact wasn't even as good as some of the high shcool shows Cartwright has done. Makes one wonder why. The guard needs to go back to flags 101. There is no excuse for flag work not being cleaner than it is at this point.

BD's brass is so seasoned and musical. Give them 2 or 3 weeks and they will make CC's playing sound like pedagogy exercises. Notes for the sake of notes. It will definitely be a dog race for first place this year. Never underestimate the Blue Devils. -

Great show! It could just as easily have been PR if not for the last 6 or 7 years. Sadly though the talent in staff and corps has long since left PR behind.. Never the less, this show will medal. -
oh i see. well it's a far cry from what they have been doing
-
meaning?

As has been mentioned a few times, the corps has outperformed the shows given them the last several years, as they were fairly uncomplicated. This is far and above anything the corps has done drill wise since Into the Light. They did a very nice job pulling that show off in the end. I just hope the current talent is up to the challenge. And it's about time the corps is given something new and progressive to work with. Having only seen a practice tape, and it being just before their first show last night, I am still surprised at how poorly performed the guard's flag work is. At this point straight forward flag work should be close to being in unison and it is anything but! Is there a large number of rookies in the guard? I look forward to watching this show, it has potential and am glad PR is up to something new.

For this time of year I've seen some sloppy guard performance at PR, but never anything this bad. Most of these girls look like they've never had a flag in their hands before. Is it due to late design changes, lack of talent or lack of instruction. Isn't the guard supposed to be one of Cartwright's fortes. The flagwork is, if anything, annoying right now.

Send the singer home. And if they have to have a singer, find one that can sing in tune.
-
it's beyond stupid looking
-
I'd venture to say there are several companies M&O or otherwise would be willing to provide the digital information and equipment needed for the needs of PR to have their exposure on the football field.

I just listened to the BC music selections. All I can say is whoever put this together must have been doing some good drugs. It's going to be incredible to hear. t -
Seeing the picture of all that sound equipment, I'd love to think they are using a serious digital organ this year, unlike the mickey mouse thing they used in the Paris show. I'd love to hear a good digital organ incorporated in the show. This is what a digital organ can sound like. In case you're not familiar him, Cameron is known as the bad boy of the organ. And his digitally designed organs are referred to as Lucifer of the organ. It's amazing how it can imitate the sound and feel of a tracker instrument and even the chiff of the wood pipes is so good.

they sure look like boots in the rendering. the kind i ware as a kid with straps and rings sewn on.

Will Phantom be wearing the knee high boots? I surely hope so. They really finish the look.
