  1. Anyone know why the dci score page shows 7th Regiment with a 0.0 in guard? Nevermind, I see it has been corrected...
  2. I know this has been hashed over... but they have added many event to live lists in the past without blocking or adding another cost. I underlined the issue I have: On the web page where I paid for the season pass it still states "The DCI Live! Season Pass Bundle includes access to all live webcasts broadcast from the 2016 DCI Tour including the DCI World Championship Finals." I got the first half on my big screen casting from my laptop before it kicked me out. (They never did block my Ipad app, so I watched it all...) Just not well handled by DCI.
  3. did this show get rained out? and no periscope? ;(
  4. I am thinking you really want to catch a periscope of bluecoats tonight if the opportunity presents itself...
  5. So if mom were Fred and Dash was in BD.... Helen: Dashiell Robert Parr, you are an incredibly competitive boy, and a bit of a show-off. The last thing you need is temptation. Dash: You always say 'Do your best', but you don't really mean it. Why can't I do the best that I can do? Helen: Right now, honey, the world just wants us to fit in, and to fit in, we gotta be like everyone else. Dash: But Dad always said our powers were nothing to be ashamed of, our powers made us special. Helen: Everyone's special, Dash. Dash: [muttering] Which is another way of saying no one is.
  6. We haven't even seen the real endings yet for some of the corps near the top. So everyone is evolving for the better. The Cadets just have a lot further to go right now. Even with the changes, the show looks spliced. Transitions are functional and utilitarian. Not what I'm used to seeing from these guys. The music is there... I just don't see the visual being able to match it. But we will see.
  7. I actually thought that Les Chatelaines did cooler stuff with the chairs back in the early 80's. Cadets will pass this show.... soon, like maybe in 30 minutes... jmho
  8. Dan, I'll agree with most of it, but I see both of your Blues up from where you have them... Bluecoats over SCV (just have more of the "what") and Bluestars over Boston and Regiment... (if their drumline doesn't kill'em)
  9. Yan Qin is a chordophone. I am sure that Cavies staff does know this and I am sure that they cleared it with the powers that be prior to the season.
  10. Whoa... I live my life as a lurker and don't reply often, but this is one of those times. Marie is not just good, she is an extremely fine judge. We need more people so dedicated... Now about BAC... I have seen them twice live and I have wondered where the scores were coming from other than clean early. Was told directly by a couple of judges that they may hit trouble in big stadiums and further into the season due to variety and demand limitations... I have been a Boston fan since that mighty little corps of 1977 blew me away... This drill works, ensemble will be ok... But it has a serious cap built in due to variety and demand and they need to address it. IMO I hope that they do because I really enjoy the show and would love to see them succeed! Now, let's get this straight.... It is not Marie's fault! George Hopkins is not the Anti-christ! DCI is not dead. Score will fluctuate. The season will go on... Someone will be happy in Indy and someone will not. Let's leave all of the personal stuff aside and let the kids and staffs do their thing while we cheer madly for every group.
  11. I haven't read all 38 pages so I do not know if this has been said.. BUT I will no longer miss the espn telecast... I have this on my 50" LCD and the sound through the bose lifestyle... and I'M THERE BABY!!!!!! This is awesome!
  12. Scores: Cavies. 76.1 Bluecoats. 71.6 Boston. 70.2 Troopers. 63.4 Pioneer. 58.2 Dutch Boy. 52.5
