Have you heard how dense BK's brass book is? Or how musical the battery and pit are? Have you seen how constantly spread out they are? They don't stop moving when they're playing. Their show is a work of art. I think you should reevaluate that statement about Stars having more content and demand. I have to watch BK's show twice just too see everything going on. Don't get me wrong stars are great, I just can't see where you're coming from when you talk about Knights having less demand and content.

I think I worded that statement wrong. I wasn't talking about staff as they have much more things to worry about than us folks on DCP. I know that drum corps kids like to check dcp every now and then just for curiosity.

BK is probably hyping the fact that y'all are so offended by their incomplete show. The design team wants it right the FIRST time and they know that patience is the key to their success. They do things a little differently, and the fact that people pay money to see their shows this early doesn't change their learning process at all. They aren't worried about what people think, they're concerned with giving the best show possible, which they do a darn good job of doing so.

So you're saying that BK doesn't work their butts off like everybody else? They don't want to put 11 minutes of crap on the field only to have to make tons on changes around regional time, which PLENTY of groups do. Be patient, the end result will be great.

That is never the reason why BK doesn't have a complete show at the beginning.

Bluecoats have caught my attention especially with their Pat Matheny stuff, and I've heard rumors about some very interesting uniform ideas. Gonna be an interesting year for the all the Blue groups. But I can't wait to see what everyone else has to offer too. Gonna be a great season of drum corps!

BK has some staff who marched Crown 2009- 2012 and they are claiming their drill is harder than when they marched, BK is definitely moving a little bit this year!

Denver weather is much more preferable for rehearsal. 60's and 70's every day with chilly nights. Can't get much better for spring training in drum corps. The BK battery is mostly from California so it's easy for them to rehearse and they don't have to stay at a school. Hope this clears up any confusion as to why they're in California.

I agree with your GE and placement choices. BK has a very interesting show that is put together well. Everything makes sense and is put where it is perfectly, and it's a continuation of the last two shows. I could go on and on about their program, but that's for a different thread. Gonna be an awesome year for BK, along with many others!!
