I understand that but it is still part of the conversation. I’d go buy a Tesla tomorrow if I thought I could travel longer distances on a charge and be able to recharge easily and quickly. Jim is a solutions architect designing enterprise integrated security and communication systems for electrical substations. Most of them are coal. He said we’re not even close to being ready for everyone owning electric vehicles.

That’s all well and good as long as the infrastructure can keep pace with the demand for electricity. My house is a new build and has the capacity for a charging station. And I really don’t want rolling blackouts. The electrical grid has to be able keep up with demand. We’re not there yet. Maybe in 12 years. I don’t know.

Just keep the remote handy.

$4.61 at Sam’s Club here. It is the least expensive gasoline. $4.74 at the closest station from our house. I’ve always been one to plan my trips to save gasoline and I’ve never been more happy that I have acquired that habit.

DCI was in Philadelphia so they were already out east. We went to American Legion Nationals in New York City before DCI championships in 1976. I don’t know about 1980. DCI was in Birmingham. Maybe CYO was at about the same time as Allentown? I was aged out by 80.

I think it was a mistake to not have some kind of real season last year. A few weekends with shows like DCI. The video season was disastrous, TBH. it was so annoying that I stopped watching and attributed the $50 I spent on Box 5 to lessons learned.

It’s not so much that as it is the people at the theater. There was nearly a fist fight next to me because a woman was sitting in the wrong seat. I don’t need to be around that.

I’d rather watch at home so I think it may cut in theater attendance big time. I don’t think I’m the only one. My experience at these drum corps theater events has never been good.

The “big storm” may have blown one hair out of place. It stayed south and east.
