  1. Colin wrote a book that is either too dense to be appreciated by drum judges (staging doesn't help) or difficult too perform and is less musical than the competition. Note, content doesn't always equal demand. On top of that he chose 10 snares to clean a book that requires utmost clarity to be appreciated. Who knows, they may correct course, is Colin one for self-reflection?

  3. hmmm seems like a few of his decisions put the group in this position to begin with....what makes you so certain he s the one to correct it?
  4. No doubt a wonderfully talented man. Do you really want to get into his behavior?
  5. or what Phantom is currently doing, mixing in the previously recorded version with the live corps....
  6. If your friend hears vulgar language spoken in a distinct Boston accent by a less than kempt individual - it most likely is Marc. Short tern fix, but would be more effective than whomever is running the visual program currently. Is Adam Sage still involved?
  7. Sounding less and less like a Cadets fan Mr Dixon...
  8. George also said they would be in good hands with this design team
  9. Great! But who is making these changes? The same people responsible for the debacle that is the latter portion of the show?
  10. You are correct, were that to be true. This isn't a defense of George Hopkins, more of an attack of John Hannigan et al - the alumni that ripped apart YEA (for the right reasons) but didn't man up and support the rebuilding process.
  11. Said the man who was rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic
  12. All the events that have taken place since the alumni group decided to oust Hopkins have lead to this predicament. The money they promised never materialized. Cadets 2 shut down and members contracted ASAP (less about their talent than cash flow coming in) were decisions dictated by less than ideal circumstances. The end result is what you have now - a corps in freefall.
  13. won't be surprised to see Spartans, Legends and 7th Regiment scores fall into top 25 of corps going to Indy
  14. are you saying Denise should replace Scott as corps director?
  15. I am pretty sure that if you donate a large sum of money to the Madison Scouts you get to conduct part of their finale at their home show
  16. thanks George, you made my point! But, who will be hiring these better designers and staff? The one who put this team in place? The same one who allowed them to dismantle themselves during Spring training?
