After starting off in what has been the corps worst kick off ever, the Knights have reorganized and will be working on some drastic changes to their show along with Les Blanc Chevalier. Corps executive director Gary Currier apologized to fans of the corps and the activity for letting them down in the first few shows. We were attempting to take the activity in a new direction of marching ans style that simply we were not ready for. The shows are being redone in our traditional style to get us back where we belong. Thank you for your patience. I remind everyone to never put all their eggs in one basket--if it seems to be good to be true, it likely is! (if anyone wants all cavies for all captions it is now available---OUCH!!!!)

Sounded pretty good for failure to me...id be proud of those kids and what they have accomplished director included. I gave you/him credit--he has done much better than some more local to me who HAS experience in a top level corps, is well old enough and should be able to get together enough of an organization to make a real run at it, YET in years of trying, hasn't gotten as far as this "kid" has gotten...don't listen to em--leaders move beyond cynics and misplaced criticism--go get em and keep building! Cant wait to see you on the field in years to come.

CLASS ACT is DCPI's all age fantasy corps using scores from DCA corps instead of DCI...gauging interest for the season--id like to have a minimum of 10 corps to start...

Looks like the Knights will hold on to the Knight Sword until at least July 4th when they face the first other Knight Corps, Knights of Power. Of course as of right now, only these two corps are on tour as Knights! If the Silver Knights get set up--that makes 3! Does that make the Knight Sword any less coveted? HARDLY! You have two perennial top twelve corps and two previous world champions fighting for it all! Stay tuned to see who will win the Knight Sword!

excited to get the season going! The Knights had an unexpected issue starting the begining of the season when planned, so we will have a delayed start date of June 21st in Frostburg where we are excited to take on Eruption, Fallen Angels, Feenicks, M.I.B. and Quilt. The Knight sword will be on hand but wont be up for grabs for awhile.

and it was season 15--though 16 and 17 were about as close as you can get!!!

hey I fired the assistant that ran last season===he didn't dare make any changes all season and if not for our great kids we wouldn't have even made finals! Guess I have to stop focusing on Nemesis

Keep in mind that designation isnt for DCPI but for all forums on DCP. So its really a matter of how long and frequently you have posted and been active in all forums, DCPI included. This is not a designation of your corps.

Thanks for the insight Drumcat--though I have always been a huge supporter of the fan network, even hosted viewing of shows at my house. I cant manage to complain that I get to see so many live shows in a decent quality all around the US when I have so few "local" (less than 6 hours away) shows for a relatively decent price. I also cant help but think back to the day when I was lucky to see one show a year with maybe a handful of corps and had to call into a number to get scores! LOL Will it get even better? yeah it always does! However for what you have helped to provide so far--thank you so much! I know Ill truly appreciate this year as I cant make finals!

one note on CLASS Championship--since our two largest shows were scheduled for the same night--CLASS Championship will be a split show --so you can be at either Montreal or Bowling Green KY on June 29th. The first joint championship of its kind will include live scores, video feed and updates from each venue to the other. CLASS is truly excited about this new way to crown a champion!
