  1. FYI . . . Fort Mill, SC is the ONLY Fort Mill in the US of A . . . Go ahead, Google it, I know you that's what you are doing right now . . . Now . . . Pledge your VOTE VOTE 4 THE DRUM CORPS
  2. Create events that appeal to more than just the Drum Corps Fan. Broader audience, Broader Appeal=More People More Opportunities to expose this great activity.
  3. Every Drum Corps Fan, Simply do this: VOTE 4 THE DRUM CORPS + ONE More Charity of your choice Then tell your friends, to infinity and beyond . . .
  4. Taquann, That ain't happenin'. Nor do you want it to . . . Just a safe assumption . . .
  5. I hear you . . . However, We won't know how much is too much until Dec 15th when the Round 1 winners are announced. Voting ends this Friday. Why slow down now? Would you stop marching a show 9 minutes in because it was too much? Of course not. So we give it our full effort.
  6. You have 20 votes. Vote according to your conscious and free will. It is your choice.
  7. I take issue with this statement and attitude. Yes we are asking for one vote, but we are also asking everyone to use all 20 votes for all their favorite corps or other charities. Greed is not involved here. It's a non profit. Every corps deserves to win. Every corps needs to win. We at Crown work hard to raise every dollar for the corps. Same with all the corps. Pick any corps, they all work hard. No exception. So....I challenge you to take your negative attitude and put it to good use and do something positive for your favorite corps. Vote for ALL your favorite corps and Charities.
  8. Help Chase the Vote for your favorite Drum Corps and your other favorite Charities. The best part... it costs you Nothing! Simply Vote! http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiv...harities/633737 http://carolinacrown.org/web/index.php?opt...&Itemid=541
  9. Vote for every Corps and your favorite charities. Use all your votes! This is a great opportunity for more exposure to the activity.
  10. I would like to see all 22 corps score in the tightest spread ever seen. So that when Brandt announces scores at qtr finals . . . And in 22nd place with a score of 90.1 Cascades . . . That would be great for the entire activity. When Quality goes up, Recruiting goes up, Merchandise sales go up Attendance everywhere increases . . . Who wins? Mostly the Fans But Everyone Wins. I know I'm dreamin' . . .
  11. If you are not volunteering for your favorite corps in some capacity, whether they are near or far . . . Get busy and volunteer. Every corps needs help in some way. Just ask.

  18. As in all things we do at Crown, we have been very thorough in our approach and have planned carefully. We are not ruling out any future shows in NC.
  19. Beckham, et al . . . The front row seats are 8 feet above ground at foot level, so the height vantage point starts high to begin with. And the stadium has a nice angle. It will be a great venue for drum corps. Your math and placement is still off. I appreciate yours and everybody's passion and enthusiasm for the activity. The bottom line is, you should support any drum corps show in your area or region because of your love of the activity. That's why you're here on this forum, right . . .? Moving the show to Rock Hill is a smart move. All proceeds will now support 3 High School Band/Music Programs in Rock Hill and Carolina Crown. As opposed to just supporting Crown, Park and Rec and some guy's personal bank account because he provided lousy show security whose IQ did not register on the IQ meter. We've had issues with them for years. Annnnd then you had to wait in line to buy tokens just to wait in line again and then buy overpriced water. Believe me, we've heard the complaints and we are responding! Memorial Stadium is great for viewing and listening to a drum corps show. However, it's the baggage and price tag that comes with the stadium that makes it hard to deal with. So just trust us, in that we are moving the show to provide the best experience for the fans and the corps. All CrownEVENT meetings are open to anyone who wants to come and help run these shows. We need your help.
