Just to clarify (if your not familiar with the seating) Section 308 is next to the center section 307. This seat is on an aisle about the 42 yard line. Just sayin......

You're correct about Shippingport's reactor. Known as SAPS (Shippingport Atomic Power Station) whose reactor was supposidly from a nuclear (not nuculor) sub.Adimiral Himan Rickovers pet project. Known as Power Alley there are two stations (beaver Valley Unit 1 and Unit 2) and on the other side of the bridge are 3 coal fired units (Bruce Mansfield). Remember the parade and shows in Midland (known to locals as Mitlin) and the foundry dust that covered all the vehicles almost completly by days end.

Not sure if this is the same one but just down the hill from the community college is like a mom and pop type of restaurant that features a really great buffet with the best Pizza ever and very reasonable. Been there 3 or 4 times and can never remember the name of the place. It's like a mini-plaza thingee. Carl V. would know.

I think there are some other "fine lines" regarding passports. Mostly to do with cruises. I forget what they call it but in essence if you are on a cruise to the Caribbean, as an example, and returning to the port of origin without getting off the ship you may not need a passport. But.....for about a months worth of beer money it's really a bargain and is good for 10 years. Just sayin........

I'm surprised no one has meantioned Dinasaur Barbecue yet. Only a 10 minute walk from the Radisson. Maybe less. Wifey even made it there with a bad hip. Won't even get into the "Garbage Plate". (not yet anyway)

KUDOS to Mr. Jeff Gibbens for the above quoted statement. Quite out of character for him as he has never said a dispariging (spl. chk) remark about anyone, any Corps'....in the 18 plus years I've known him. His attitude has always been on a positive note no matter the numbers in front of him. It will always be that way. Trust me..........

Kinda sorta reminds me of a guy I met in a rest room during the Macy's Parade All Stars in 1994. He was in Sky's A-Guard and 72 years young at the time. Probably not him but, sure looks like him. The person I'm thinking of, who has since passed on, was of either Irish or Scotish decent. Just sayin..
