Just need the stripes back on the pants

This really is not about older alumni wanting to take GH down for no reason. This is & has always been about removing a person from a position in which they have created a untrue persona in a position of power & self- created reverence, that also continually allows for fresh students, volunteers, etc, every year, which helps to keep people from bothering to report anything, as it's easier to just move on. That & the fact that yet-to-be enlightened followers, will do their best to distance you from the activity that is our family.

Spot on!& had today's social media been available in the 80's, the behind the scenes shenanigans would have put his career to an end years ago.

Been there, done that, not going to argue with anyone over the first. Let us all know how you make out with verifying the second.

Board is basically, in name only. It is completely unknown at this time, who on the current Cadet/YEA BoD.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue in this & so many other issues, for so many more years than people want to be real about, will still be there after the mass exodus.& regarding the Glassdoor reviews, they are the tip of the iceberg. Glassdoor is only recently available, which actually works more to YEAs favor, as even though past staff & volunteers can still put up a review even from the past, most have not bothered, & just want to but it behind them. Thus, perpetuating the continuing cycle.

All corps, great job!! BD, brought their August show, some horn parts very reminiscent of late '70's... HNC, this is SO DOABLE!!

A little over 20 years ago, while welcoming couples from our church - of various ages, to a small group at our apartment, one of the couples noticed a Garfield Cadet plaque we had displayed. It ended up, one of our guest's marched in Holy Name back in the 1950's. It has made for a very nice friendship through the years... And just last week, as I was getting ready to be discharged from the hospital and making some last minute rounds to say good-bye to the others I met on the floor, while yakking outdoors in the courtyard, someone visiting somebody else on the next wing saw my Cadet t-shirt, came out and approached us and stated he just had to ask, Cadets drum corps or something else? Then when he realized that both my husband - who was also there, and myself had marched, he proceeded to salute and tell us what a total drum corps fan he has been for the past 40+ years, even though he never marched. We'll be looking for him at Giant's Stadium next week... I'm sure there are a few others I can't think of at the moment, but as far as I'm concerned, you could never run into enough drum corp people...

Oh George - What a surprise to find you here! How about updating the blog for those of us that have been following... It seems a bit odd that for all there was to say for the past months, we have heard nothing since early last night...
