An excellent corps......!!!!!!!! Had the pleasure of marching against them in the Garden State Circuit during the late 70's. What a corps!!!!!

Will we get the chance to see the corps this year....In Spokane..??

Exactly.......... the crowd was definatly rocking for the muchachos at philly.... and Jeff Kievit could surely work that soprano horn of his to the crowds delight!!!!

Jo is so correct on this... It wasnt that we didnt or couldnt march another corps.......... the bonds to our particular corps was so strong that myself and others decided not to march with any other coprs. My last year marching was 1978, my corps last year was in 83... maybe it was a diffent time where loyalty to your corps still existed..........

I read abour Lukas a few weeks here on DCP a few weeks prior to the Spokane, WA show. I had a chance to watch and listen to him play......... He is a deffinate asset to the OC and can play a mean horn too....... A true professional!!!!!!!

Thanks For the review Ryan. As you said about the Spokane Thunder, I too hope that the people here in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Idaho and all the other surrounding citie and states take notice that YES, There is a #### good drum corps here in Spokane!!!

I was totally amazed watching the cadets in the orange bowl in 1983. They had the crowd in their hands from the beginning to the infamous z-pull, to the crowd chanting in unison "East, East, East". What a spine tingling moment watching the first of garfields many championships..!

OH Man........... I remember the big white scoreboard!!!!!! Seen it at the World Open many times........... Drum corps before all the electronics age!!!!!!

Agreed.............. Saw him in spokane on friday night.......... Excellent and very dynamic horn player who definately knows how to play his horn. OC should be proud to have him in their hornline......

Thanks for the walk down memory lane........ I too remember standing on the " inspection" line at 0-dark-30 waiting for the judges to inspect us and performing at such an early time on sat morning. But, with all the corps in NJ at the time, guess we had to start early. And the parades..........playing to the crowd at "Kelly's... What a blast!!!!!

Im Thinking that he's from Spokane and marches with OC. I read that his horn is custom made for him.. I'll be cheering for him tomorrow at the Spokane, WA show
