I'd pay to see you be positive

1) many of us agree...maybe it's in how you say it 2...many of us have said this too...maybe it's in how you say it 3...many of us have said it, tho I don't think it's 100% as bad as say it is. but..maybe it's in how you say it 4) a lot of it depends on how you say it, and also how long it takes for someone to hit the report button. The mods do not scour every thread looking for something to delete. it has to be reported 95% of the time. 5) again, many of us have agreed with you time and time again. My hunch is the delivery hurts your message and turns readers away

what I fear is everyone arranges for the dome, and for those 95% of the season shows scheduled for outside will sound like ####. weak, bland, and covered by electronics

i'm not sure about that. as instrument costs continue to go up, and the continuing growth of visual emphasis....i'm not sure that's the fears are baseless

trust me, i'm not defending Bubba. Even I have to turn him off once in a while, and little offends me.

finals week in 95, a few of us crossed to go see the, uh, Canadian Ballet. After a few hours patronizing a wonderful establishment for Canadian Dance Arts, we headed back to Buffalo. As we got to the crossing, the guard asked where we were, so we told him. He laughed and asked if we had any beer or cigars with us. we all said no then one voice from the back piped up "if we still had any, we'd still be at (insert said Dance Academys name here) Guard just shook his head and let us thru.

ok...so how did Cali and Denver draw more fans than most places? not quite 30k, and yes they were starved for finals....this is where I think locking yourself into one venue forever hurts. if you move it around, you give more people a chance to attend. you have east people who wont go to Cali. you have Cali folks who'll never go East.

true. but sometimes 30,00 paying a little less per customer can bring you more $$$ than 15,000 paying what they do now

find as many colleges that arent in session I would imagine

yeah i am anxious to hear their take on it

because some years, it seems like they play a lot less ( amount of time, and maybe notes too) yet pop huge scores. at some point, the visual demands become more of the commentary than the actual performance, and I think the activity in general has gone there
