I will be at this show. I may post, probably during intermission if at all. Can anyone find Carolina Crown's housing site and/or schedule for the day? I'm also looking for Phantom Regiment's schedule for the day. I couldn't find either on their websites.

Oh wow.. Just realized how late this show starts in central and eastern time.

Short version of my story (For what it's worth) I went to a "top 5" corps to audition. Musically I was very prepared and I thought played well enough to make the corps. ADVICE #1 Be in shape. I don't mean be skinny. You can easily be fat or somewhat overweight and march any corps you want. You need to be physically in good enough shape to be able to run for 15 minutes without stopping. I couldn't do this at the "top 5" corps that I auditioned for and I was told point blank that my name was written down when I started walking for a minute and I did not make the corps. So if you are auditioning, I would suggest you go running most days from now until you audition. ADVICE #2 If you don't make it, don't let it stop you from marching. I didn't make the "top 5" corps so I went to a "usually finalist" corps' second camp and marched. It will take some effort (calling/e-mailing the director and telling them your story, etc...) but if you want to march, there's no reason you can't. By the way, I had the best time of my life at the corps I marched and wouldn't have traded it for anything.

Did you double-post that with an iPhone? .... just messin with you. Don't hold your breath for the DCI Android App. The iPhone app is worthless. Why can't Fan Network be included in the DCI app?

I've asked this question before, but now it's relevent: The announcer no longer states, "You may take the field for competition." The drum-major doesn't count the corps off to start. So where does the show start? 6 seconds is not long.
