Wow! Some of you guys must have been living large on tour. It was 1200 for all corps fees and I lived on 200 for the full tour. No problems. I don't really understand what some of you are spending money on. Am I getting old?

I love the new scouts' uniforms. Very classy. I'm not such a fan of Spirit's unis. They look like the Blue Knights from a few years back. I don't see any corps identity in the uniform. The delta outline is there and the mirror is on the helmet; neither are really visible.

DCI has been known to get videos up within an hour or two of the performance (I'm sure it's subject to their internet access at the stadium). They have maybe 50% of the time. I'm excited to see if we get some quality improvements over FN last year. Anybody know the pink parts of each corps (other than crown)?

Yes, corps above them are good. In my opinion, PR is placing about where they should. In my opinion, they are not performing at a championship level.

How about we just leave it at the pretty interesting fact that after possibly the best show in DCI's history, Regiment will complete the largest post-championship placement drop ever.

Funny how your posts digress from: a corps with a bunch of 17 and 18 year olds who have never marched corps in their lives to 20-25 young rookies to several. I don't deny that they have several. To imply that a talent drop-off is the cause for their problems this year is pretty silly. Edit for accuracy.

I don't think there's any arguing about the talent level of PR's auditionees. To say that their corps is fielded by high schoolers with no DCI experience is a cop-out. I have a hard time believing that. It really sucks that they're having such a bad year. I think their show design and staff is more to blame.

He's asking for examples. Where is the brass sound being enhanced? Are you talking about brass sound being picked up by pit mics?

Are they really "a bunch or 17 and 18 year olds who have never marched corps in their lives?" I doubt that SERIOUSLY. Do you have any proof of that? I would imagine that the best marchers/players in the country tried out for PR this year. On top of them usually having 400+ audition, they just came off of the best season in the corps history. Arugably the best show in the history of DCI. I do not believe that this corps is fielded by young rookies.

I would argue more that it's the members' ability to execute under pressure.
