I've only heard the Cadets so far, but I am excited to see them getting away from last year and back to the Cadets I love, even if it does have narration. I'd give them a 9.5 for pre season goodness.

At least they've got field turf now, instead of WVU's old turf from quite a while back. The old Laidly was not the best place to play, but the past few years with UC owning it, has made for some improvments, but I'd still prefer it to be in Huntington, where it always was.

Just got some recordings of 86 and 87 Florida Wave, and I must say that they played one heck of a good arrangement of coconut champagne. It really is exciting. Shame they never made finals <**> , considering how many years they were so close. Any thoughts/ opinions?

As a younger fan, whom didn't see these shows live, I can't really say that SCV was more "emotional" in 89 than 88, as sometimes has been said, but I can say that 88 was cleaner by my DVD, however, Madison clearly looked the better that night. But 89 imo should have been given to Phantom Regiment. That show is jaw dropping. I show it to new marchers and they are amazed everytime.

i know sunscreen has been said many times, but it can't be said enough, you'll thank yourself later in life when you don't have skin cancer

they tied for first, i'd consider that winning it all, but i'd have to say Spirit of Atlanta or the bridgemen, as both got close several times but failed to achieve a first place victory at DCI
