This show has always been one of my favorites, very entertaining. Great hornline and guard. I was thrilled that they made finals that year.

I believe MC had a "momentary lapse of reason" last night. There's just no way that the score matched the performance of the BC last night. I will however give her the benefit of the doubt based on experience.

I'll be at Charlotte which is home so 8 miles to the stadium and Columbia which is about 100 mies or so. Was planning to go to Murfreesboro but that trip has become a casualty of gas and time off from work.

I'm right there with ya on the VK bikini girl. The 1989 show was mwmorable and not just because of the young lady at the end . Also, the Bridgemen in the 70's did some fairly interesting stuff particularly with their female guard members.

Great info on the mello soloist from the Cadets. The solos from the "West Side Story" show are among some of my favorites. I had always wondered who it was.

It is a sad day and one that was inevitably coming.

I don't think they will be winning for long. Right now the corps are competing all over the map so we'll see how well the Cadets fair when they go up against the midwest and CA corps.
