  1. We are hoping for both. It really all depends on the DCI eval. The advantages of having a major DCI show so close to home will hopefully do wonders for future recruitment efforts. Plus, we won't have to spend 6K to travel. So yes, both Orlando and Atlanta are on the tentative schedule.
  2. Oh yes, we passed the DCA evaluation and competed in 3 shows last year. This year we are getting a DCI evaluation for DCI Atlantic competitions.
  3. You guys are really coming along! Keep pushing and we will see you in Rochester! Keep rockin it!
  4. The Sun Devils will be there. I don't know about the Erie Sun Devils
  5. I am looking forward to this weekend. Hopefully I won't have to be on conference calls the entire time. This season looks very promising! And having Buffalo Wild Wings so near by is an unexpected bonus. GO SUN DEVILS
  6. Let us not forget Heat Wave: 98 & 03 No 2 in a rows yet though.
  7. I cannot friggin wait! "X" will be fun! Come down for a visit...and join the corps! http://www.sundevilscorps.org GO SUN DEVILS
  8. VERY Cool video. Hi Anne and Charlie!!! No CNY for me again this year. Tamara and I will be out of town. I swear to God, one day I WILL march with you guys on CNY.
  9. SWEET! Come out to the next camp Keith...and bring your trumpet. In Bb baby. See ya then!
  10. I'm down for the rally. Perhaps we can get a few other Sun Devils in on the hang too. I am sure I can get some old Heat Wave folks out for a spin. Good idea!

  12. The Sun Devils Drum and Bugle Corps Gives Back This weekend marks the end of the Florida marching band season. FMBC (Florida Marching Band Coalition) finals will be held at Tropicana field in St. Petersburg, FL. Following The Sun Devils successful first year season, several members ventured out to help educate Florida’s young musicians. Several Sun Devils staffers volunteered purely for the love of the performance. I would like to take a moment to recognize Sun Devils members that contributed to the performance excellence of their students during this 2008 marching band season. 13. I believe the staff is still being finalized. I am sure there will be an announcement soon. Interested in coming out to Sun Devils?
  14. 2552 could be misdirection...or part of the bigger "X" theory. hmm...
  15. Hey Keith, we'll be doing Movements 1-3. Maybe 4 if we're lucky.
  16. Well, I don't think we are "possible newcomers." We DID compete last year. We just did not head up to Rachacha for finals, however we do have 2009 our show. And that's all I have to say about that.
  17. Hmm...actually I think DeKalb would be fantastic! As an alumnus, it would blow my freaking mind if I could march there again. There are PLENTY of places to eat in DeKalb...now. The town is no longer a small college town. DeKalb is a viable suburb of Chicago. There are PLENTY of places to stay. Plus, there are hundreds of hotels between Chicago and DeKalb. The stadium is great for drum corps. Also, they recently revamped the entire facility, so now it's even more awesome. Now for DCA? Maybe not. But for a kick @ss regional...YES! Last plus; you have an "in" with the Huskie Marching Band
  18. Folded? Seriously? All we did is not go to Rochester! Our plan is to compete...again...in 2009. This time with the icing on the cake in Rochester! So yes, we are gearing up for 2009! Thank you for mentioning that here. It helps to squash rumors quickly.
  19. YES! Congrats to Alliance from your friends down in Florida! I am so proud of you guys. And I also wanted to thank you for being such great hosts at your show. AWESOME facility. AWESOME field. Thanks Alliance and we will see you again next year.
