Everyone need a "squat and pee" move in the hornline. Seriously, I am loving a lot of shows this year. My biggest scratch on my head : Props are hauled around all summer and only a very few get good use of them in their show. It just seems like a waste of time and money to do so if it does not add to the show. I could be a human prop, only I would at least work for my food--drive, clean, run errands while not parked on the field as a prop.😂 ooohhh post number 1111.....I just made a wish.

Agreed. A lot of people complained about the bicycle step, I loved it. I am not aware by history, how this step evolved or came into being, but I miss it.

I agree. I go back and watch some of those shows and they are so seemless and well done.

The corps is definitely cleaner and I like the changes. They sound fantastic even on a crappy feed. What is going on with the guard ? Replacements, rewritten work ? I guess I would expect them to be a bit cleaner too, but don't know what all is up so will leave it at I hope they continue to get better.

It’s funny. I joined Flo to watch BOA last fall. I find the coverage quality for DCI to be inferior to BOA. I joined for the year, but wish the quality was better for DCI

I have always thought Legends has put out good shows. It has been nice to see them grow !!!

I had Cavaliers on my phone and Blue Stars were on my laptop, The first step is admitting that drum corps has made my life unmanageable..lol....but I am not there yet.

I have actually liked the performances of all the corps tonite-with respect to feeling they are peforming and less tentative. More emotion.

Kind of my thought. It is stil so enjoyable to watch and hear them perform.

I truly understand tradition. Do they still have a Boy Scout Charter ? I know BSA expanded membership to both sexes. I can say there is something to be gained at the same time by belonging to an organization that’s all male or female. I think it to potentially be an exercise in understanding yourself better and how you relate to your own sex rather than a lot of the connotations of the no boys or girls allowed sentiment. I hope it works for them. Regardless, what I am fearing most is the loss of another corps, not because of this action though, just whatever is going on at The Scouts can be changed. I hope, regardless of competitiveness, the members get a lifetime experience.

As far as traveling to the West Coast, I would think any corps would want to be budget wise. So, why take your souvie stand if you can share.

I have an idea of who the HolyNOLA is from Soundmachine. Has never liked The Cavaliers and has always been an ardent Cadets fan. I won’t go into more detail-but there is a reason this person does not post here under their old username. Was a troll on Soundmachine too.

Well, I actually agree with oldbandguy. I think one can project about scores, but until they are head to head, you dont really know where everyone will stack up. Oldbandguy, in his time, was very successful band director in Newark, Ohio. I am not sure that scores are all that drive perforners. I was in a fast food restaurant after the Hamilton show-filled with kids from a variety of corps-never heard convo about scores, but I did hear a lot of members ask each other if they had a good show.
