Bluecoats Narration

Recommended Posts

Does it suck?

Is narration good for DCI?

I wish they would just shut up and let me hear the music!

It's cool. He tells them to remain silent, so they do. It's not mawkish crap.

I think this thread is trouble in the making. And im sure the poster wants that...lol

But yah never know maybe it'll be a nice topic about bluecoats and their narration and it won't turn to a flame war.

Bluecoats or not...The horse has been sufficiently beaten to a bloody pulp...

I don't really like it, and I personally think it's about as amateurish as Cadets' narration ("anything you play can be used against you"...ugh). Fortunately, though, they use it FAR more sparingly than Cadets and I can live with it.

Interesting Signature for the topic......

Perhaps the poster is going for some type of irony. Everybody seems to be on the Bluecoats band wagon, yet I've seen very little complaining about their narration...at least compared to The Cadets. If your friend is being a jerk, you are going to overlook it. If your enemy is being a jerk, you will not.

Just my guess.

First...there is no music during the Bluecoats narration. Second, the Bluecoats say approximately 11 words, the Cadets go on for approximately 11 minutes. You simply cannot compare the two.

This is another example of a Cadets fan starting a thread on narration! There has been, comparatively speaking, much less talk about narration this year than in the past several years.
