LancerFi
1980 was my age out year after marching 5 in 2-7 and many more in the I.C. Reveries. I am equally proud of the two corps I marched in and found things more alike than different in both groups. (I was also very proud to be the guard captain in 1980-thanks George B and staff!) Coming 2nd at finals was difficult however we did have a fabulous season. P.S. also consider 94 as another coming of age/aging out again...... A27Lancer
1978. Not a great finish, but looking back it was a great show. Zingali was warming up. And, yes, Nance, 94 also felt like an age-out year. I "aged out" after every rehearsal and performance! :P
jacquesb
1985 - Spirit of Atlanta I'm watching this thread, waiting to see if someone posts that they aged out in 1976 and then marched in the Bridgemen in '77 :sshh:

tommytimp
I spent 1975 with the Muchachos, 76 with the Crossmen, and 77 with Bayonne. What? Kidding. I aged out in 88 as DM of the only group I ever marched with. I was also the subject of an article in Drum Corps World that same week. It was a good week for the purple, because one of our mello players won the Ott Award that Friday night as well.

Guardguy89
Aged out in 1989 after 10 years of drum corps and winter guard. '89 was a great year! Only wish DCI could have been in Montreal that year (like it was supposed to!). later, Mike
