After a slow start on first tour, we kept improving and coming home, we won CYO Nationals We had a very close knit corps and always believed in ourselves (a la Rocky???) In Denver, Elvis died, and the Bridgemen got bagged. It reminded many of us of the Muchachos disaster of 1975. 1994 - a rebirth of sorts and a trip down memory lane. I'm glad my teen years and into my early 20's was spent that way: playing music, having responsibility and expectations, traveling and making tons of friends! O.P. Posted July 16, 2007 Share Posted July 16, 2007 27th 1978 with Jimmy H in a disappointing year with a very talented corps and a show that never quited matched up. Still the people were great and the memories of finals in Denver. Of course, i aged out as an instructor twice 1986 and 1994, each time with an undefeated season and some jewelry.
