I saw a video of the Santa Clara Vanguard playing "Send in the Clowns" at a competition a few years ago...2004, I think.

It still breaks my heart everytime I see it. Bravo, SCV.

I guess I'm one of the minority who wants to hear the whole show all over again from the first note to the last. No one does that better than BD. Bad a**es to the end. The extra frilly stuff does nothing for me except for the corps songs - love those.

yeah- sorry i left madison out- i guess its too late to add them now... i've never seen one of their encores before, but i have heard them sing "you'll never walk alone" and that was cool- unfortunately it was this weird time when they sang it while the rest of the corps were still on the field for retreat so i had to listen from the back... but it still sounded good...

SCV thier finallies are the best!

They warm up with Music of the night( done right there)

They play the new song Vanguardian sketches( several selections Phantom, Scheherezade, Fiddler)

Then they play some of their show

Then Send in the clowns ( wich makes me weep every time)

Others may be good but that is hard to beat!
