B-Mac
Yea, I know it's only because of xxxxxxx........But it's COOL to see Surf at #1!!!!! I quote the Beach Boys "catch a wave and you're sittin' on top of the world" Surf's not number one. For the few shows both corps were at, Spartans won all of them. Without direct competition in a show, one cannot claim who's first by who had the highest score from two different shows. Not the same panel of judges. We'll just have to wait for when both corps are out west competing. Edited July 27, 2007 by B-Mac
OMH
Calm down, B-Mac. I was just fantasizing seeing the CURRENT STATS, which OF COURSE don't indicate any head-to-head action. That's what xxxxxxxx means. I'm sure your Spartans will do their best to change that, but not without a fight from the folks from Camden County. Go Surf! leadsop97
it's all good B-Mac. I too am excited by how well Surf is doing. Note - ECJ only beat the Spartans 4 times in 2005 (2 due to penalties), and 2 times in 2006, it just so happened that some of those 6 shows were the "most important". anything can happen. my favorite thing is actually seeing Citations up there competing with not only the div III contenders, but some of the div II corps as well. Good luck, I'd give anything to see Surf and Citations bring down their respective divisions.

goldingna
7-27-07...Now with the Spokane show scores.... 1. Jersey Surf - 88.20 2. Spartans - 86.60 3. Memphis Sound - 84.25 4. Blue Devils B - 84.15 5. Vanguard Cadets - 81.85 6. Revolution - 80.70 7. Fever - 79.90 8. Raiders - 79.05 9. Dutch Boy - 75.70 10. Colt Cadets - 74.70 11. Teal Sound - 74.40 12. Oregon Crusaders - 74.00 Teal hasn't had a show since the 15th, but they've been rehearsing, so they should definitely move up once they get back on the road, and Spartans have been off for a while too. It'll be interesting to see how Spartans and Surf will come out when they meet up on the 30th. Regardless, I'm excited for Surf for having such a great season so far. Division III also seems to be much stronger than usual this year!
