audiodb
We had the "star" on our flags back in the day. 4 years ago at incorporation time, there was apprehension about ownership of the Kingsmen name... Why? No one objected to the Hamburg Kingsmen, Long Island Kingsmen, Fitchburg Kingsmen, Joliet Kingsmen, Bronx Kingsmen, or others using the name. Besides, wasn't the name "Kingsmen StarCorps" already used previously by the same former administration for one of it's ensembles?
silvertrombone
I confirm with Mr Winton...email received.WOW!! When a corps that isn't in existence already has a rehearsal site locked and loaded...well...I can say as Spock would say..."Impressive...impressive indeed." Yeah, I know. But not everybody gets those, so I thought I'd share with all the other punks on DCP! Great way to do what you're doing and some of your grocery bill go to a worthy cause. No more shopping at Wal Mart, folks! Albertson's costs a little more, but Mr. Sam doesn't give $$$ to DC's!

Roark1
It's about time! I've been without a Kingsmen t-shirt for WAY to long! :)
Northern Thunder
I'll never forget how sharp those star flags looked in '74, especially during Artistry In Rhythm. They actually looked as if they were lit with neon!

I think it has more to do with Rocco than anything else....
