ironlips
1940's Lt. Norman Prince 1950's Cabs 1960's Skyliners 1970's Hurricanes 1980's Sunrisers 1990's Brigadiers 2000-07 Reading Bucs I realize you wanted only one answer. That would have to be the "Prince-allero-liner-cain-riser-buc-adiers". Edited October 24, 2007 by ironlips
Fran Haring
1990's Brigadiers No offense to you Frank, or the Brigadiers...... But for the 1990's I gotta go with the Empire Statesmen. Four DCA titles from 1990-1999, and never finishing lower than third place at Finals during that period. A dominating run. Fran

ironlips
Yeah, Fran. I can see that. OK, the "Prince-allero-liner-cain-buc-adier-men" it is! Of course, honorable mention goes to the Ski-Masque Cadets. Edited October 24, 2007 by ironlips

BTW how you answered is great. it really reflects senior corps. i didn't neccesarily say that it had to be one corps. it's what ever you feel. and that is what you feel.......i love it. Well, you did say, "dating back to ww11 who would you say was or is the best senior drum corps ever?".So, I took "was or is", to be singular. That said, I still think Cabs are the hands down winner, if you had to choose, as far as wins and crowd response, IMO. However, all the top perennial corps have had their days, or years, in the sun. However, I like Ironlips take on that commercial by combining all the names of the corps to get one name. Very creative. :) Don't quite get the choices and years, though. For once someone mentioned corps that were actually before my time! Lt. Norman Prince? I've only heard the name. I actually liked Hurcs more in the late sixties than the seventies.
