JG was the Godfather to youngsters like Grass and Edney. Few buglers in drum corps today play with that kind of gusto. Correct! A really great horn, but he would never play a solo; he would play in duets, trios, etc., but never solo. It was a personal thing. OK, on to #4. Elphaba WWW You'll have to refhresh my memory on that venture Elphie ... Joe and **** taught a lot of corps together ... Joe invested in ****'s Italian Specialties ... Joe ran a chain of fabric stores for his father-in-law and **** made deliveries ...
